Kael snorted. Option A was a fast track to getting recognized. If he walked into the arena looking like himself—the sleepy first-year with the messy hair and the permanent slouch—it would only be a matter of time before someone like Nyla or Rylen spotted him on a spectator screen and bugged the living hell out of him.
"Option B," Kael said firmly. "Make me unrecognizable."
The menu shifted, dissolving into a complex array of sliders, color wheels, and anatomical diagrams. It was a character creation suite that would make any gamer drool. You could change everything from bone density to the exact shade of your irises.
Kael, however, possessed the artistic integrity of a tired toddler.
