The two worlds completely merged.
Malrick reasserted control over the portion of universal authority that had briefly been vacated. The World Consciousness now held only one hundred millionth of the authority of the entire universe.
Without realizing it, it had gone from chairman, to partner, to little more than a shareholder.
Yet it enjoyed itself immensely.
It even informed Malrick that it had taken interest in an even larger neighboring universe and had already begun pulling it closer.
There was little Malrick could say to that. He praised it again, calling it a good dog.
As time passed, the two Earths slowly began establishing formal diplomatic relations.
The Earth from the Wandering World gradually emerged from its long period of despair. With help from the enhanced humans and advanced industries of the Biohazard Earth, the ruined planet recovered at an astonishing pace, reclaiming much of its former appearance.
Because Malrick had saved the world, a Savior Cult soon emerged on the Wandering World Earth.
It spread rapidly, forming a massive following of both devoted believers and casual worshippers across the globe.
During interworld exchanges, the cult even gained followers from the Biohazard Earth.
At the official level, exchanges focused mainly on technological cooperation.
However, Biohazard Earth deliberately avoided sharing research related to biological weapons.
On one hand, technologies involving viruses, fungi, and parasites were far too dangerous, and had already been sealed away by Malrick and Tony Stark.
On the other hand, the enhancement serums used by Biohazard Earth all originated from Malrick himself, and even their top scientists understood little about their internal structure.
Malrick believed both Earths were under his authority and should not be treated unfairly.
With a single thought, he created billions of enhancement serums.
Even so, introducing widespread enhancement to the Wandering World Earth proved complicated.
That world had too many factions and too many conflicting interests now that the crisis had ended.
Malrick ultimately entrusted the task to Ada Wong.
Ada immediately understood and stated that the rollout would begin in the most suitable nation, China.
Even then, the first group to receive enhancement consisted only of heroes who had made outstanding contributions and personal sacrifices during the Wandering Earth Project.
They would travel to the Biohazard Earth through a fixed spatial gateway Malrick had constructed within the Joint Government complex.
On the day of transfer, all selected candidates wore simple protective suits and advanced toward the teleportation gate in orderly lines.
Liu Peiqiang stood in the middle of the formation.
Beside him walked a thin, middle aged man wearing glasses.
The man appeared withdrawn, but Liu paid it little attention.
Everyone present was a hero of Earth, each deserving respect.
"Hey," Liu said casually as they moved forward. "What did you do before all this? I am Liu Peiqiang, astronaut from the Navigator Space Station."
"Tu Hengyu," the man replied, forcing a faint smile. "I worked on the Digital Life Project. I was cracking the nuclear launch code in submerged Beijing when the world was saved."
"Same here," Liu said with a dry laugh. "I was on the Moon, ready to give up returning to Earth and manually deploy the nuclear device."
He clapped his hands together. "And then the Savior appeared right above me. One step, and the Moon snapped back into orbit."
Liu shook his head in disbelief. "It felt like something out of myth, like a god moving heaven and earth."
"I thought some ancient immortal had finally decided to save us," he continued. "Turns out he was just incredibly powerful, and from another universe."
Tu Hengyu paused, then adjusted his glasses. "You actually met him? Is he really as omnipotent as the cult claims?"
"I cannot say for sure," Liu replied. "But if he can merge universes, that feels close enough."
He sighed softly. "If only he truly could do everything… maybe my wife…"
He stopped himself.
"The Savior saved Earth," Liu continued. "My daughter and my father do not have to hide underground anymore. That alone is omnipotence."
"Yes," Tu Hengyu said quietly. "It is."
A faint light flickered in his tired eyes. "I heard he founded the Joint Government on the other Earth. High ranking officials can meet him. I want that chance."
"You want to ask him for something?" Liu asked.
Tu Hengyu nodded and held the data disk tightly against his chest.
It contained the digital consciousness of his daughter, Yaya.
"Even if that is true," Liu said hesitantly, "we all have to return eventually."
"I do not need to come back yet," Tu Hengyu replied, lowering his gaze.
"Their artificial intelligence technology is far more advanced. They were the ones who discovered MOSS's instability, and they erased it completely."
"I have been assigned to collaborate with them on digital life research."
His grip on the disk tightened.
If he could not meet the Savior, then artificial intelligence was his last hope for Yaya.
"You really make people envious," Liu said softly.
He recognized the same desperation in Tu Hengyu's eyes that he once saw in himself.
"Let us go," Liu said, trying to sound hopeful.
"First we become enhanced. We will live long lives. Maybe someday, we will truly get lucky."
Similar conversations played out across the globe.
After the fusion, humanity's worldview, social order, and future direction were all being rebuilt.
Malrick paid none of it much attention.
He left the affairs of both Earths to their people.
Once the first fusion stabilized and he gained reliable experience, Malrick began actively drawing in other worlds he had once visited.
Harry Potter. Prototype. Naruto.
For smaller universes, he relocated them entirely near the Biohazard Earth, arranging them to merge in sequence.
Larger universes required patience, pulled closer slowly, just as the World Consciousness had done.
Because the next target was the vast universe the World Consciousness had mentioned, these relocated worlds were temporarily stationed near Biohazard Earth.
As for Malrick himself, he prepared to travel again.
There were more worlds to explore, more systems of power, more universal laws to understand.
He entrusted the Biohazard Earth's management to the World Consciousness, Ada Wong, and Jill Valentine.
All he needed was to split a portion of his consciousness through his m body and quietly observe the universe's development.
"Where to go next?" Malrick murmured. "Never mind. Let us leave it to chance."
He activated his ability and stepped into the void beyond the world.
