"I mean that once Tang San is killed, you will become the new Sea God."
The Deep Sea Demon Whale King remained silent for a long time, then suddenly dove into the ocean. An instant later, she burst upward from the depths, her massive body leaping straight out of the sea and stirring up towering waves. Mid-air, her streamlined form was enveloped in purple light. The light dissolved into countless flowing ribbons that drifted down before Jiang Shengyu.
From beneath the canopy of purple radiance, a tall, coldly alluring woman walked out. Her beauty possessed a sharp, aggressive charm—completely different from the Snow Empress's.
The Snow Empress was like a flower atop a cold, unreachable peak: noble, sacred, untouchable.
But the woman before them radiated a fierce, overwhelming presence—imposing, domineering, blade-sharp.
At this time, the Deep Sea Demon Whale King had not yet been corrupted by the endless slaughter forced upon her by the Holy Spirit Cult in the future. Her aura was not tainted. Even so, her raw, forceful presence made the Snow Empress furrow her brows slightly.
Looking at the stunningly aggressive woman before him, Jiang Shengyu smiled. "How should I address you, Deep Whale King?"
The woman cast a glance at the Snow Empress and replied, "She is called the Snow Empress You may call me the Demon Empress."
Jiang Shengyu introduced himself, and the Demon Empress asked, "You said earlier that you can make me the new Sea God? But the Sea God's divine seat is currently held by Tang San. How dare you speak such grand words?"
"Simple. After we kill him, you will conquer the Seven Seas. With that supreme authority, you will forge a new Sea God's divine throne."
Jiang Shengyu laid out his plan. In fact, the Deep Sea Demon Whale King ten thousand years ago had already attempted something similar. But unfortunately, the previous Sea God acted even faster—finding an inheritor in this world and killing her before she could rise.
After hearing him out, the Demon Empress gave Jiang Shengyu a deep look.
Then she raised her hand. The waves roared violently, and seawater gathered to form several whale-shaped constructs.

After parting ways with Ling Luochén, Jiang Shengyu and the Snow Empress stepped onto the whale-shaped constructs woven from seawater, cutting through the waves as they followed the Demon Empress toward the Demon Spirit Great White Sharks' territory.
Their habitat had once been near Sea God Island ten thousand years ago. But after the collision between the Sun Moon Continent and Douluo Continent, the once-mighty island guarding the Sea God's legacy had vanished entirely during the tremendous geological upheaval. The Sea God's followers had long since migrated.
The collision had erased that entire region of the ocean, forcing the Demon Spirit Great White Sharks to move elsewhere.
After following the Demon Empress across the sea for half a day, the continent behind them had completely vanished from sight. In every direction, nothing but endless ocean remained.
Suddenly, the Demon Empress stopped and pointed forward. "Ahead is the Demon Spirit Great White Shark territory. Their clan leader is protected by the Sea God. I cannot enter this sea region."
"If you can't enter, we'll simply make them come out."
Jiang Shengyu exchanged glances with the Snow Empress. Understanding his intent, she raised her hand, gathering wind and snow in her palm. In the blink of an eye, a blizzard swept across the vast sea, and endless snow and frost fell, freezing the waters at an astonishing speed.
She could not freeze the entire ocean, but freezing this region was no issue for her current strength.
As the ice sheet extended deeper into the sea region, a powerful aura erupted from the depths. Immediately afterward, the ice surface shattered as a figure burst upward, slicing through the frozen layer with its dorsal fin.
"Where do you soul beasts come from? This is the Demon Spirit Great White Sharks' domain. Leave now!"
Xiaobai, the Demon Spirit Great White Shark Queen, could not read Jiang Shengyu's aura, but she sensed soul beast aura from the Snow Emprese and the Demon Empress, so she naturally assumed Jiang Shengyu was a transformed soul beast as well.
The Demon Empress laughed coldly, releasing a sliver of her killing intent. "Has the Sea God's protection rotted your senses, Xiaobai?"
Hearing the Demon Empress call the shark "Xiaobai," Jiang Shengyu couldn't help laughing. "You're also called Xiaobai?"
The shark queen's pupils constricted. "You're… that whale!"
She had never seen the Demon Empress's human form. Realizing who she was, Xiaobai immediately retreated into the protected sea region and shouted:
"Deep Sea Demon Whale King! You've hunted our Demon Spirit Great White Shark clan for thousands of years—yet you still refuse to give up?!"
"Until your clan is wiped out, how could I ever give up?" the Demon Empress said coldly.
"Don't even think about it! Under Lord Sea God's protection, you will never harm us!"
Xiaobai mocked her as she swam through the waters, breaking the ice as she went. Then she turned to the Snow Empress and Jiang Shengyu.
"You must be soul beasts from the Extreme North, right? This creature is no good—be careful she doesn't eat you! Our Demon Spirit Great White Shark clan serves the Sea God. Leave at once!"
