Hiraya spent the remainder of the evening bonding with Prince, while quietly studying every entrance and exit of the sprawling mansion. 


She played the role of a compliant, beautiful songbird to perfection, leaving her brother captivated and completely unaware of the scheme unfolding behind her calm eyes.


Jasper raised no objection when she asked to take a solitary walk with Prince. In fact, he was pleased to see her settling into her new surroundings and forming a bond with his beloved pet.
