The rules within the Land of Perfection distorted quite abruptly. Under Leyton's indulgence, Roselle directly altered the position he was in, appearing inside the divine kingdom.
He glanced with some curiosity at the crow Anu beside him, who was in the form of a phoenix, and casually asked:
"Gregrace still has a legacy? She has been dead for several epochs already. Didn't the Death who once ruled Balam completely root out all the arrangements she left behind?"
Leyton tilted his head to glance at Roselle. The state of this Black Emperor could not be counted as too good; the aura on his body appeared somewhat chaotic, as if he had failed to gain an advantage from the Nation of Disorder.
Pausing a moment, he then shook his head and said:
"At any rate, she was an ancient god who opened up the Underworld and a tributary of the River of Eternal Darkness, and she further mastered the death domain. How could she die out so cleanly and easily."
"Because of the influence of Salinger and the River of Eternal Darkness, those arrangements of hers have more or less experienced mutations. However, what I need is merely her residual aura and status, which makes it much simpler."
Roselle raised his eyebrows slightly, speaking with a tone that appeared somewhat surprised:
"You want to expand your own authorities? But the death domain doesn't seem to have anything to do with you."
"What I need is the authority of the soul domain, and furthermore, I have already obtained that portion of knowledge and information I wanted from the River of Eternal Darkness."
Leyton shook his head, explaining simply with a phrase. He did not linger too much on this topic, turning instead to ask:
"How do you want me to help you?"
Roselle gave a "heh," adopting an expression that said 'it is still you who understands me best' as he said:
"I plan to utilize the connection and attraction between the Genie and the Nation of Disorder to enter the interior of the Nation of Disorder."
"In a certain sense, I am also a Western Continent person. I can twist the corresponding rules to let the Nation of Disorder recognize me. This way, I can obtain a chance to master the Nation of Disorder."
Leyton stood silently on the spot without speaking. His eyes appeared extremely deep, flickering with a sheet of profound dim purple, as if prying into that long river representing destiny.
Within the silver-white, majestic, illusory long river that was difficult to describe concretely, individual mercury-colored filaments extended out, hooking onto each other to interweave into a blurry scene.
A moment later, his eyes became clear anew, and he looked toward Roselle, saying:
"Very well, I will perform a certain disguise on your information, helping you obtain the recognition of the Nation of Disorder."
"If you can succeed, the Genie will be your hostage, and you can leverage It to reversely threaten the Uncertain Mist in the cosmos, or even attempt to eat It to become a complete Son of Chaos."
Roselle smiled until his eyes narrowed into slits, saying: "Since you say so, can I consider this as still a kind of hint—a hint that I will bound to succeed."
"No." Leyton shook his head indifferently, paused a moment, and then continued to speak: "I merely saw futures that are not bad for you whether you succeed or fail."
"If you succeed, this world will gain one more rational Great Old One. If you fail, influenced by you, the Nation of Disorder will also further activate and further give birth to its own humanity; this world will likewise gain one more rational Great Old One."
The corner of Roselle's mouth twitched a bit, making a very wordless retort:
"Very well, this conversation cannot continue. Give me the Magic Lamp; I want to take that old wall lamp to perish together with the Nation of Disorder."
Not minding Roselle's expression, Leyton calmly reached his hand forward, dragging a palm-sized golden water kettle out from the void. A section of lamp wick extended out from the position of the spout, and he handed it over to Roselle.
After receiving the Magic Lamp, Roselle gently rubbed the lamp wall twice with his right hand.
A stream of golden water flowed out from the spout, converging in midair into a golden human figure full of chaos and distortion.
"Very well...."
The Genie seemed to think it was Bernadette calling It, opening Its mouth out of habit. Just as the words left Its mouth, It suddenly froze.
The one holding the Magic Lamp was Roselle who was in the capacity of the Black Emperor, and off to one side there was further a Demon of Knowledge and the Key of Light who hid himself within destiny.
Without thinking too much, the Genie directly transformed anew into a stream of dim golden water to drill toward the interior of the Magic Lamp.
Just as the dim golden water touched the position of the spout, a flash of silver-white light went past, and It returned anew to midair, returning to the state where It had just opened Its mouth to speak.
"Very well...."
Just as the sound of the Genie's voice fell, Leyton had already raised his hand to press upon the golden human figure filled with chaos and distortion. The Genie, who was just about to shrink back into the Magic Lamp, solidified in midair all at once, and the colors upon Its body rapidly dissipated as if evaporating.
Roselle, on the other hand, took the opportunity to place the Magic Lamp at the position of his own chest, after which his entire body turned considerably illusory, appearing to have become a certain type of illusion, emerging simultaneously in the Forsaken Land of the Gods and beside Leyton.
In the Forsaken Land of the Gods, the moment Roselle's figure appeared, countless glows interwoven from cyan and shadow welled out from thin air, looking as though they emerged from another world with completely different underlying rules, tightly surrounding him without leaving a single shred of a gap.
Surrounded together with him by the glows interwoven from cyan and shadow was further the Genie who lost Itself in color and became solidified.
Upon the Genie's human-shaped body that had lost its color, individual large or small vortexes appeared, thoroughly absorbing all the gray-white upon It. It transformed anew into the golden human figure filled with chaos and distortion, but this also caused the surrounding welling cyan glows and shadows to become even more frenzied, separating a vast amount of glows to surge toward the Genie, just like a cat smelling fishiness.
The Genie instinctively was about to drill into the Magic Lamp, but was one step too late, being intercepted by the cyan light and shadow, directly producing a trend of fusion.
"Damn it, what do you want to do...."
The Genie's figure was gradually submerged amidst the cyan light and shadow.
Roselle smiled with satisfaction. Regardless of whether the opposite party could hear it or not, he spoke to himself:
"Didn't you come to Earth precisely to find back that portion of Sefirah torn away by the Original Creator? Now I will directly take you to the interior of the Nation of Disorder."
Leveraging the opportunity where the majority of the glows were entangling the Genie, Roselle reached his hand out to grasp those cyan glows surging toward himself. His body instantly turned illusory, fading into the shadows interwoven with the cyan glows like a shadow.
Leveraging the twisting of his own identity and the status of the Black Emperor, he successfully entered the interior of the Nation of Disorder.
His vision instantly turned upside down. By the time it stabilized anew, he looked as though he was situated within another world with completely different underlying rules and destiny.
Azure light, shadow, and clouds kept each other company, looking as though he was situated within a kingdom high above the heavens. The surroundings were all filled with magnificent palaces possessing Eastern characteristics, and the entire space rose layer upon layer like a pyramid, becoming increasingly dignified and heavy.
At the absolute top of this azure kingdom stood erected an extremely tall and extremely dignified figure. He wore heavy and complex cyan-black elegant attire, with a crown dropping down individual rows of jade beads upon his head. He had no facial features; the position of his face was a mass of a gloomy and deep vortex.
Behind him stood row after row of figures quite similar to him, like emperors looking down upon the world.
Roselle's figure continuously rose higher, until sitting on equal terms with those individual monarch-like figures, becoming a part among them.
.....
In the cosmos outside the primordial barrier, upon a planet even several times larger than Earth, a vast amount of white mist churned, transforming into a terrifying vortex sufficient to submerge the entire planet. Every single wisp and filament of the mist within it looked as though it grew facial features—facial features of different species and different emotions.
Tightly pressed against the barrier left behind by the Original Creator, one civilization picture scroll after another unfolded and shook, appearing to have received some invisible, heavy blow, continuously transforming into mottled light dregs to disappear.
However, every time a civilization picture scroll disappeared, a new civilization picture scroll would immediately unfold to fill the vacancy, blocking the gaze of the outer deities and the power venting toward the interior of the barrier.
.....
In the Forsaken Land of the Gods, at the place where the cyan glows and shadows emerged, one after another mercury-colored complex symbol emerged out from the void, intersecting together with countless illusory rivers to evolve into a blurry, not-real-enough, slowly rotating giant wheel.
Along with the rotation of this wheel, those cyan lights and shadows wrapping and assimilating the Genie retreated back into the void like a reversal of time, and the Genie also returned to the solidified state that had lost its color.
