Obviously a large city like Yora had way more than 300 adventurers. But as this mission was way too dangerous, only adventurers above the rank of D were allowed to join the expedition team.
Not just that but quite a few of the high ranking powerhouses actually stayed in the city because there was a possibility that this was a plot of the demons to lure out the adventurers and then to attack the defenseless city.
The Dragon Seeking Maidens and the Queens of Storm and Thunder parties took the leading role in this mission. Veronica, Palcara and one another member of the Queens of Storm and Thunder party called Zexi had came to the guild very soon after Caity left.
As Veronica was an A ranker, she took the position of the overall leader. No one had any complaints about this as Veronica was famous for her leadership abilities as the leader of an A rank party.
