Satan Saint's eyes blazed with vicious light as he barked a correction.
"The World Government is the true overlord of the sea!!"
The murderous glare in his eyes sharpened to a terrifying peak. In the next instant, an unseen force shot out, invisible to the naked eye.
Like a hungry evil spirit, it lunged straight for Rocks' head, ready to tear his soul apart.
Rocks sensed the danger immediately. Black smoke surged from his palm as he raised it before his face, swallowing that intangible power whole.
The moment it was devoured, the smoke on his hand spun violently, like fan blades whipping into a cyclone.
"Black Vortex!"
An invisible gravitational pull like a bottomless abyss snapped onto Satan Saint's body. His enormous, grotesque frame lurched forward violently, dragged toward Rocks against his will.
His expression changed.
He could feel his body being yanked uncontrollably toward Rocks, and shock flashed through him.
"So this is the Yami Yami no Mi… the power that can suppress Devil Fruit abilities?!"
Satan Saint reacted instantly.
He lifted a spider leg shaped like a spear. Drops of highly corrosive venom dripped from it, sizzling with lethal intent.
Then he thrust forward!
Whoosh!
The razor-sharp spider leg tore through the air with a piercing shriek.
"That kind of attack…" Rocks sneered, eyes cold. "It doesn't even compare to Tengetsu Ares."
He raised his arm.
Black-and-red lightning crackled across it, coiling around his fist.
Then he threw a single punch.
Boom!
Satan Saint's spider leg froze midair for a heartbeat then blasted backward. His entire body was hurled away, tumbling across the ground in a humiliating roll.
The Rocks Pirates erupted into mockery and laughter.
"So the Five Elders' power is only this much?"
"Hahaha Captain Rocks is incredible! One punch and he sent a Five Elder flying!"
"..."
The sharp ridicule made the God's Knights' faces darken.
And Satan Saint's expression sank so low it looked ready to drip water.
Against Conqueror's Haki infusion…
against Rocks, the monster of the sea…
Satan Saint still wasn't strong enough to truly oppose him.
And when he thought about reinforcements not arriving anytime soon…
his fury only deepened.
Suddenly
a Den Den Mushi rang.

"Hm?"
A trace of surprise flickered in Satan Saint's eyes. He reached into his clothes and pulled out a Den Den Mushi, answering at once.
"Moshi moshi. This is Satan Saint."
"Satan Saint-sama, please hold on! I'll lead reinforcements to God Valley as quickly as possible!"
Fleet Admiral Kong's voice came through the line.
That news lit Satan Saint's face with sudden joy.
"Good!! Hurry and get here wipe out the Rocks Pirates in one sweep!!"
"Impossible!"
Rocks' eyes widened. He rejected it outright.
"That has to be a bluff!"
"The Marines can't possibly arrive that fast!"
With Golden Lion, Tengetsu Ares, and Kaido at G-1, even if the Marines gathered every top-tier they had…
they wouldn't be able to put them down quickly.
How could they already be on their way here?!
On the other end, Kong seemed to catch Rocks' voice and immediately spoke.
"Rocks if you already knew Marine G-1 was a trap, why did you still send Golden Lion and Tengetsu Ares to attack it?"
Rocks' face turned cold.
"That was their mission."
"Kong, you think you can bait me? You're still locked in a bitter fight at G-1 right now, aren't you?"
"A bitter fight?" Kong chuckled.
"If it weren't over, then yes it would've been a bitter fight…"
"That Tengetsu Ares… his combat power is truly shocking."
On the deck
the Marines and CP0 looked stunned by the praise.
Even Tengetsu Ares himself glanced over in surprise.
Kong continued.
"If I told you Golden Lion's Fuwa Fuwa no Mi is carrying us to God Valley… would you believe it?"
That single sentence made Rocks' face turn to ice.
His voice snapped like a blade.
"You're saying Shiki has become a traitor to the Rocks Pirates?!"
"He's helping the Marines?!"
Then
laughter burst from the Den Den Mushi.
"Shihahahaha "
"Captain Rocks. It's me."
"Golden Lion Shiki!"
"Shiki?!"
Veins bulged across Rocks' forehead. He roared first, striking with rage.
"You bastard!!"
"You actually betrayed the Rocks Pirates…"
"The next time I see you, I'll personally purge you traitor!!"
Rocks' fury boiled over.
The Marines had actually teamed up with Shiki.
Worse
they were using Shiki's ability to rush straight to God Valley.
Damn it!
That meant Marine reinforcements really would arrive soon.
Shiki's tone turned sharp and cold, a laugh like broken glass.
"Oi, Rocks… you were sending me and Tengetsu Ares to die, weren't you?"
"The Marines were already lying in wait at G-1!"
"Don't worry."
"When we reach God Valley… we're going to settle this debt properly."
Rocks' eyes flashed with killing intent. His voice dropped into an icy menace that made the air feel colder.
"Fine."
"I'll be waiting for you at God Valley."
"Come."
"And the moment you arrive…"
"I'll purge you traitor of the Rocks Pirates!!"
At that moment, Rocks' heart sank.
"I have to get the Devil Fruits fast."
"Otherwise…"
"Once Shiki, Tengetsu Ares, and the Marines arrive…"
they'll tear my entire plan apart.
Huff
Thick black smoke poured from Rocks' body, rolling outward and condensing into a massive black dragon feral, clawed, and raging.
Like a flood-beast that saw every living thing as prey.
Rocks barked an order.
"Boys clean up this trash on the sea!!"
The pirates, vicious as starving tigers, pounced on the God's Knights and World Government soldiers.
Some of the officers, however, were still trying to digest the information from the Den Den Mushi.
For a moment
they were rattled.
The Marines and Shiki together?
Shiki and Tengetsu Ares branded as traitors?
Rocks intentionally setting up Shiki and Tengetsu Ares?
Their minds couldn't process the chain of revelations all at once.
Rocks' expression darkened.
"What are you standing around for?!"
"Kill them!"
"Take the Devil Fruits!"
"Overthrow the World Government…"
"We pirates are the masters of this sea!!"
With Rocks' roar, the officers finally surged forward with the main force, charging into battle.
Meanwhile
Satan Saint, hearing Kong's message, was startled, but to him it sounded like salvation.
His confidence soared. He shouted coldly,
"Rocks! Marine reinforcements will be here soon!"
"You're all going to be wiped out!"
"Ze hahahaha " Rocks grinned, cruel and fearless.
"Wipe me out?"
"No one on this sea can do that!!"
"Before the reinforcements arrive…"
"I'll kill you first."
"The World Government's highest authority…"
"Five Elder Saturn!"
Satan Saint's face changed. A chill ran through him.
In the next instant
the black dragon, wrapped in roaring smoke like a demon made flesh, lunged for him with a thunderous howl.
A true dragon's roar!
"Suppress!"
Satan Saint's eyes flared. Invisible power snapped out like shackles, locking the black dragon in midair.
The dragon froze.
Then
it broke free.
As if it devoured every ounce of resistance that tried to bind it.
The Yami Yami no Mi's nature…
that black hole-like swallowing force.
