Twilight is glaring at Historia under his helmet, he watches as Historia approaches him. Their step echoes as they get closer, but then another set of footstep is getting closer. Red Daybreak arrived.
"Interesting, so you came for his backup?" Historia turns to him, their fist clenched and ready to throw punch.
Daybreak walked past Historia, completely ignoring them. He stopped in front of Twilight.
"Stubborn brat." He kicked Twilight on the head, completely knocking him out.
"Not here to fight, don't you?"
"No." Daybreak carried Twilight on his shoulder and turns to Historia. "As we are right now, we have no chance of defeating you. I'll gather my knights and we will defeat you, a Calamity must be stop."
"Then I shall be waiting, I will destroy you all at once."
Daybreak engulf himself with red energy and vanishes. Historia touched their cheek where Twilight did their final attack.
"You felt that... Didn't you?"
"That is something, but it is not enough to take me down."
"Regardless, you need to be careful. We can't be sure whether they will be a threat to us."
"Adaptive Diary, that was your Final Form when you are the holder of Historia Driver, yet it was just my main form and my other forms are far stronger than yours. I'm not gonna lose."
"... If you say so..."
*****4 hours later*****
Akai is inside his manor, a large establishment with a bit of traditional Japanese design incorporated on the exterior while the inside has a more European-esque style. He's on his desk in his room holding his Knight Emblem, a flow of energy runs through his body from the Emblem. He opens his eyes and sighed.
"I felt that Assassin had finally found their host..." He leans back to his chair and stare at the ceiling. "Ginko need to be put on hold for now... He won't be able to attend school tomorrow, so if there's trouble, I wouldn't be able to call for backup."
He let out a huge sigh and went inside an underground colosseum, it was a large open area with torches to light up the place. He has the Knight Emblem and the Holy Blade; a small blade with a slot on the hilt. He walks closer to the centre of the arena.
"Knight Change." He placed the Emblem on the slot on the Holy Blade and unsheathed it.
Behind him, a bright light flashes and fades. He has donned his armour as Red Daybreak, he flourishes his sword. From the darkness of a corridor in front of him emerges five black hounds with glowing red eyes, they began attacking Daybreak but they all fell in a single swing of his sword. The bodies disappeared.
"This is not enough... Innate Magic: Barrier."
He raised his hand up in the air and his body starts to emit a red aura. Something came out from the dark corridor once again this time a huge humanoid monster appeared; a Troll. It roared and rushes at Daybreak, the battle went smoothly and Daybreak won. His training continued until he got tired.
[Sunflower Street]
The next morning, Akai is walking his way to the Academy. He's still thinking of what to do now that things are getting a bit out of hand, as he does, he felt the presence of Assassin. Assassin is getting closer, as he turns, they are already beside him and gives him a pat on the back.
"Akai! Very early as always!" It was a short young lady with a yellow tie, wearing a uniform in the same style as his. "It's not everyday I see you walking, did your driver took a break?"
"You..." Akai's eyes widen as he stares at the woman. "Yui... You are Yellow Sunrise...?"
[Name: Himawari Yui]
"Huh?"
Akai turned around, his hand over his face. It was filled with disappointment. He turned back to Yui.
"Did you pick up a small metal symbol yesterday?" He asked straight up. He showed his emblem under his collar to her. "Something like this."
"That...? Uh... Yeah, I was about to ask if you dropped your pin or something because I found it on the ground." She replied showing the emblem with two daggers engraved on it.
His mind was filled with disappointment but his face does not show it.
"That is indeed similar to mine, but that one... You are its rightful owner." He said.
"What...?"
"Come with me" Akai tilted his head toward an alley next to them and walked straight inside. "I'll tell you the full details."
Yui follows as she is curious about what Akai is referring to. Akai looked around to see if there were cameras around or people, he turned to Yui and took out his Knight Emblem.
"There should be a button on the side of that emblem, I want you to press it." Akai shows the area where the button is.
"This...?" Yui pressed it with her thumb and from her left hand, her Holy Blade manifested. "What!? What's this!?"
"Calm down. Did you watch the news yesterday?"
"I did... Why?"
Akai placed his Emblem on his Holy Blade and then transforms into Red Daybreak.
"Don't tell anyone about this, but you, you are the holder of the title: Assassin." He transformed back to normal. "I know that it's too much to process, especially in the morning. But I need help, that person yesterday— Historia is a genuine threat and I wouldn't be able to defeat them alone."
"I... I don't think I can do this... I feel like it's too much responsibility." Yui looks into Akai's eyes, she sighs. "Although, I'll try to help should things go south. I still owe you a lot after all."
Yui left the alley to head to school. Akai let out a sigh of relief that he at least found someone reliable, although almost as timid as Sayuri. Akai went on his way to the academy.
At the same time on Yamato Heavy Industry that is located in the middle of the city, inside it are scientists reviewing the footage of the previous fight on a holographic screen. One of these scientists; Onodera Kaguya is on her computer adding a bunch of codes.
On her computer was a blueprint of a suit nicknamed "Rider System: Kamen Rider Chevalier" and another one nicknamed "Rider System: Kamen Rider Squire". Soon, Yugo enters the facility, still having bandages under his clothes. He approaches Kaguya.
"I'm still recovering, what do you want?" He said, annoyed.
Kaguya poked Yugo on the stomach and saw no reaction. "Nah, you seem fine."
"Just cut to the chase."
Kaguya hovers the hologram closer to Yugo, "Project Saviour is finished, we have perfected the Rider System and are ready to deploy." She shows the suit; a black armoured suit with grill-like visor resembling a medieval knight, it has thick pauldrons and hip guards, looking at its statistic on the side it specializes in defence.
"Kamen Rider Chevalier... Kamen Rider, I feel like I had heard the red guy yesterday call the white warrior a Kamen Rider." He thinks.
"Well, from the footage we gathered, they call themselves Kamen Rider Historia." Kaguya places the screen back to its original position. "Regardless, I came up with the name Kamen Rider because it's the title of the unfinished manga my Grandfather made. I really hoped he was able to finish it."
"Uh huh..."
"Regardless, you will be the user of Chevalier." She said.
"Wait, what?" Yugo stares at her, dumbfounded.
"We designed Chevalier to be piloted by you, that's why we already have a design." Kaguya opened another tab to show the weapons a laser sword and a shield. "It is modeled to suit your fighting style: recklessness, that's why we increase its armour."
Yugo rolled his eyes and noticed another blueprint of a Rider suit. The other one has smaller armour and is clearly modeled for a female user.
"What about this one?" Yugo looked closer.
"That one is for Murasakibara Shion. She's going to be the user of Kamen Rider Squire." She explained.
"Shion!? Why her!?"
"Why not? Shion is a strong combatant, she's our best candidate for Squire. You two will be deployed as soon as the next attack."
"Won't there be any training for this?"
"No, we implant a manual inside the suit, you can access them as soon as you wear them." She explained. "Although, Shion might take a while because she's still on her mission."
Just then, the alarm went off, red light flashes in the entire facility. One of the scientists went to check the problem.
"Spawns are appearing on the west rift near Kisaragi Bay, deploying our troops now." They said and immediately pushed a button to alarm the Riders.
"Oh, how convenient." Kaguya hands over the belt while taking a bite of a cookie hidden under her chest pocket. "Go on, try it now. Use the fingerprint scanner above the buckle then press the button on both sides of the belt simultaneously to transform."
Yugo takes the belt and goes off to Kisaragi Bay. Kaguya just watches as he leaves, she eats another cookie and goes back to designing the next upgrade to the suit.
Humanoid one-eyed monsters are destroying infrastructures around the bay, civilians are running away. Yamato Riders came to help, they were shooting at the monsters with precision, avoiding any innocent people.
One of the monsters was a large white humanoid monster standing at 2.5 metres in height, its eyes are orange and has a singular horn on its forehead, there are membranes around its temple forming some sort of veil similar to that of nuns, there are also membranes around the waist resembling a long skirt.
Yugo arrived with the belt in hand, he stared at the monster unsettle by how it looked more humanoid than the previous Spawns. He put on the belt and placed his thumb on the scanner.
[Initialize: Rider System]
The Spawn hears the announcement sound of the belt and starts floating towards Yugo. He pressed the buttons on the side of the belt and... Nothing happened.
"What the heck!?" He pressed both buttons again, nothing happened. "Why am I not transforming?!?"
Yugo began to run, the Yamato Riders were shooting at the Spawn to help Yugo. He turn on the radio on his arm and called Kaguya.
"Yeah? What's up?"
"You belt is defective!" Yugo dodges an incoming boulder being tossed at him.
"No, it's not. My belt is perfectly functional."
"Then why can't I transform!?" He pulled out his gun and start shooting at the Spawn.
"Ooooooh, you're talking about the Driver... I thought you are prank calling me about the belt you are selling."
"I am not in the mood for your jokes! Do something!" Yugo's sleeve was slightly torn when he barely dodges a swing from the humanoid Spawn.
"Did you do everything I said to activate it?" A crunching sound can be heard through the call.
"(Oh my god...) Yes! Scan my fingerprint and press the buttons on the side!"
"Ooooooh... I see the problem now, I forgot to mention; you need to say HENSHIN! After you scan your fingerprint, then you press the buttons."
"I will kill you after this!"
"Nah, you won't."
Yugo put a distance between him and the monster. He once again scanned his finger on the Buckle.
[Initialize: Rider System]
"Henshin." He pressed the button on the sides.
[Confirmed]
"The Knight in Black Armour will arrive to bring light to this world!"
A techno music plays as Yugo's body gets covered by a black suit. Armour pieces manifested from the belt and attached themselves to his body, lastly the helmet drops from above covering Yugo's head. His eyes glow red. The Spawn flinches and becomes more cautious.
"What the hell was that music...?"
Kaguya appeared from the screen in the helmet, she was still in the facility holding on a jar of cookies.
"Do you like it? I composed that myself and also did the voice-over." She said as she proudly thumps her chest.
"Seems... Unnecessary..."
"Shut up and show them the power of Kamen Riders!"
The manual to suit's functions was installed directly to Yugo's brain, in that split of a second, all he needs to learn to use the suit was now in his memory. He pulled his Beam Saber out of his thigh and activated his Force Shield, he took a deep breath and rushes at the the Spawn.
