Chapter 35 - Chapter:35 The Union of Blood and Roses

When Dmitri saw Jasmine immersed in a deep sleep, he felt a moment of weakness. But his terrifying obsession with this girl from Alia's lineage stopped him. Silently, he melted back into the darkness through the window.

A short while after Dmitri left, his elder brother, Alexander, arrived.

He, too, was a formidable warrior of the Viktor lineage, but his temperament was far more uncontrollable than Dmitri's. He had come to the palace to keep an eye on Jasmine, but what he saw upon entering the room shattered his composure.

Alexander's Frenzy:

Seeing Jasmine lying on the bed under the bluish light, dressed in that black butterfly dress, Alexander froze in place. Her enchanting beauty and royal elegance worked like an intoxicating spell before his eyes. He knew Dmitri desired this girl, but after seeing Jasmine in this state, the beast within Alexander awoke.

He stepped slowly toward the bed. His breathing quickened. He muttered to himself, "Is Dmitri insane? How could he leave after seeing her like this? The descendants of Viktor never let such prey slip away."

Jasmine remained in a deep sleep, unaware that as one danger had passed, another, more terrifying predator had now positioned himself above her. Alexander reached out and touched a strand of her hair. There was no mercy in his eyes—only a monstrous sense of possession.Just as Alexander's hand was about to touch Jasmine, a shadow appeared at the door. It was Ziyaisko, the younger brother of Dmitri and Alexander.

Seeing Alexander in that obsessive state, Ziyaisko cried out in shock—"Brother!"

Alexander flinched, snapping out of his trance instantly. He pulled his hand back and turned to face Ziyaisko. Suspicion and confusion filled Ziyaisko's eyes. "Brother, what are you doing here?" he asked, walking further into the room. "Dmitri just left. And this girl... seeing her like this, have you lost your mind?"

The sound of Ziyaisko's voice broke Jasmine's deep sleep. She opened her eyes to find two men of the Victor bloodline in her private chamber—one by her bedside and the other near the door.

Jasmine sat up instantly. The innocence of her sleep vanished, replaced by the fierce, lethal fire of the Alia lineage. Pulling a light sheet over her, she spat out with razor-sharp sarcasm, "How many Victors will invade my room in one night? Did Dmitri invite his entire family for a banquet?"

Alexander still couldn't take his eyes off her, but Ziyaisko tried to control the situation. Grabbing Alexander's arm, he whispered, "Brother, let's go. This is a game of our family's honor; sneaking into a room like this is beneath us."

Jasmine stepped off the bed, standing tall. The butterflies on her black dress seemed ready to take flight in a storm. She smiled a predatory smile. "Go if you must, but remember—none who entered my room tonight will return in one piece. Alia taught me exactly how to set the predator's den on fire."Just as the tension between Ziyaisko and Alexander reached a breaking point, Dmitri burst into the room like a storm. He hadn't gone far; an unsettling intuition had pulled him back.

Standing at the doorway, seeing his two brothers in Jasmine's private chamber—especially Alexander so close to her—made his blood boil. "What are you doing here?" he roared.

The moment Jasmine saw Dmitri, her fierce facade crumbled like a house of cards. The day's insults, the drama of the kick, and now the midnight invasion by one Victor brother after another—it was all too much.

Jasmine leaped off the bed and ran to Dmitri, hugging him tightly. Tears streamed down her face like a monsoon rain. She buried her face in his chest and sobbed uncontrollably.

Clutching his shirt collar, she cried, "Dmitri, why did you bring them here? Am I just some cheap toy? Why won't you all just leave me in peace?"

Dmitri was stunned. The girl who had kicked him into the dust, the girl who had laughed like a psychopath, was now crying like a helpless child in his arms. His thirst for revenge instantly turned into protective tenderness. He wrapped his powerful arms around her, shielding her from the world.

He looked at his brothers with icy hatred. "Get out. Now!" he commanded Alexander and Ziyaisko. "If another hair on her head is touched, remember—I won't hesitate to spill my own brothers' blood."

Alexander stomped out in a rage, followed by a conflicted Ziyaisko. Now, only Dmitri and the sobbing Jasmine remained in the room. Under the soft blue light, their embrace marked the beginning of a new, intense chapter in their destructive love.Seeing Jasmine break down in his arms like this tore Dmitri's heart apart. He pulled her even closer into his powerful embrace and kissed the top of her head with profound tenderness.

Dmitri whispered low, right against her ear, "Don't cry, my life. Please, don't cry. I am here. You have nothing to fear. As long as I am breathing, not even my brothers—not even God Himself—can touch your shadow without your consent."

The depth in Dmitri's voice gave Jasmine an unexpected sense of security. When she finally calmed down, Dmitri lifted her face with both hands. His eyes were filled with a primal mix of obsession and love. He looked directly into her eyes and asked:

"Jasmine, are you ready now? Do you truly want to have our child? Can I finally claim all of you tonight?"

Dmitri knew that Jasmine was no longer the defiant girl who had kicked him into the dust. He realized that with Jasmine by his side, anything was possible. He was ready to go to any lengths for her, and she was ready for him. The union of Victor's blood and Alia's blood was no longer just a romance—it was the beginning of an empire.Jasmine raised her tear-filled eyes to meet Dmitri's gaze. The deep tenderness and sense of security in his voice cleared away all her doubts. She realized that in this world, Dmitri was the only person who, despite having the power to destroy her, chose to protect her.

Jasmine nodded gently, burying her face once more in Dmitri's chest, and whispered in a very low voice, "Yes, Dmitri, I agree. I want to be yours, and I want to bring our dream to life."

Upon hearing her consent, Dmitri felt as if he had become the master of the entire world. With utmost care, he lifted Jasmine into his arms once again and laid her down on the soft sheets of the bed. Tonight, the two heirs of the Victor and Alia bloodlines stepped into a new history—one where hatred vanished, and a terrifyingly beautiful love triumphed. After their passionate night together, a deep peace settled over the room. It felt as if the long-standing rivalry between the Victor and Alia bloodlines had finally merged into one.

When the first rays of the morning sun pierced through the curtains and touched Jasmine's face, she slowly began to wake up. As she opened her eyes, she felt a strange, comforting warmth. She looked down and saw that Dmitri was fast asleep, his arms wrapped tightly and lovingly around her waist.

Turning slightly, Jasmine gazed at Dmitri's peaceful face. The fierce, stubborn Dmitri of last night was gone; in his place was a man who offered absolute security. Jasmine gently rested her hand on his forehead. She thought to herself how the man she once kicked into the dust had now become an inseparable part of her life.

Even in his sleep, Dmitri pulled her closer, as if he refused to let her go. A soft smile played on Jasmine's lips. She realized that their union was not just a physical act, but the first step toward building a new future for two powerful legacies
