Chapter 19 - chapter 19The Ice Queen's Game: Revenge and Betrayal

Jasmin walked to the door, but she still had to deliver her final message to Ziyaisko Volga. She paused for a moment with her hand on the doorknob and turned back to Ziyaisko, who was still sitting on his chair in shock.

This time, Jasmin spoke not in Russian, but in calm yet firm English:

"I will be back," Jasmin said.

This statement was not just a promise, but a clear threat to Ziyaisko. She made it clear that this meeting was not the end of their relationship, but merely the start of her game of revenge, and she would repeatedly return to the center of the mafia's vulnerability.

Before Ziyaisko could answer, Jasmin opened the door and left the room.

She quickly crossed the corridor and headed towards the front door of the house. The bodyguards outside immediately became alert, but no one dared to stop her.

Jasmin got straight into her waiting luxurious armored BMW car. Then Jasmin drove out in her BMW.

The car rapidly sped out of the house's gate and merged onto the streets of Seoul, leaving the luxurious estate and Ziyaisko's power center behind. Jasmin now had two tasks: prepare for her modeling show (to attract Ji-Han's attention) and try to uncover Aliyah's true plan. Her BMW sped away from the mafia's secret hideout towards the glittering city of Seoul. Her mind was focused on the complex equation of Ziyaisko Volga and Aliyah's conspiracy. She now had two goals: revenge and freedom.

Jasmin did not wait. Her modeling fame was now her biggest weapon, which she would use to draw Ji-Han's eye.

Dominating Seoul: The Lure

In the following days, Jasmin began executing her pre-arranged modeling contracts. Her arrival caused an earthquake in Korea's fashion and media world.

1. First Event: Cover Shoot: Jasmin participated in a cover shoot for Korea's most influential fashion magazine. Her snow-white hair and blue eyes seemed to brighten the camera flashes even more. She maintained her usual cold, 'Ice Queen' demeanor. These images instantly covered Seoul's billboards and digital displays.

2. Dominance in the Fashion Show: Jasmin walked the catwalk as the showstopper for a top Korean designer's event. Her walk was a mixture of innocent glamour and dangerous confidence. The sound of her high-heeled shoes with every step seemed to be a declaration of power. The media and the audience were completely captivated by her presence.

3. The Center of Attention: The media incessantly discussed rumors about her relationship with her Russian mafia husband, Dmitri, and the hushed history of her old relationship with Ji-Han. Jasmin maintained the mystery by making no comments. She knew the more discussion there was, the more pressure Ji-Han would feel.

Ji-Han's Attention is Captured

Exactly what Jasmin wanted happened.

At the Korean Intelligence Service (NIS) Headquarters, Ji-Han could not keep his eyes on his desk. Though various security reports scrolled on his monitor, his gaze repeatedly drifted to the news of Seoul Fashion Week.

Cover shoots, catwalks, and continuous media buzz—Jasmin was everywhere. Ji-Han felt Jasmin drawing him toward her. He knew this hyperactivity from a world-famous model was not normal.

Ji-Han whispered to his colleague, "Start 24-hour surveillance on Jasmin's activities. This modeling is just a cover. She is coming for us."

Jasmin achieved her goal. She now had Ji-Han's attention.

The Final Catwalk: A Cold Challenge

Jasmin reached the climax of her modeling activities. It was the finale of Seoul's most extravagant fashion show, where all eyes of the Korean and international media were fixed.

When Jasmin reached the very end of the catwalk, where the crowd of photographers was densest, the entire hall seemed to fall silent. She wore a long, glittering gown that created a sharp contrast with her white hair. Everyone was staring.

Journalists and Photographers: Camera flashes rained down on Jasmin as if they were trying to capture a moving goddess. Their eyes held professional frenzy.

Fashion Elite: Designers, stylists, and other models watched her with a mix of envy and wonder. Jasmin's confidence and the dark mystery within her placed her far above the ordinary stars of the fashion world.

Security and NIS Agents: NIS agents sent by Ji-Han, hidden in the crowd, observed her. Their eyes held professional caution, but Jasmin's physical presence also captivated them, making their job harder.

Viktor's Henchmen: The mafia's henchmen were also watching, ensuring that Jasmin was perfectly attracting Ji-Han's attention according to their plan.

Jasmin paused for a moment at the end of the catwalk. She arched her body and looked towards the cameras. Her blue eyes seemed to pierce through thousands of lenses, directly gazing at Ji-Han's secret location.

A cold, perfect smile was on her face. This smile conveyed more than just modeling—it was a silently thrown challenge. This smile said: "I am coming closer to you, Ji-Han. The game begins."

Her silent presence and the flash of her white hair seemed to announce to all of Seoul that the 'Ice Queen' was no longer just a model; she was now the city's most dangerous and coveted force.

The Broken Boss: Dmitri's Vulnerability

While Jasmin shone her glamorous light on the Seoul catwalk, drawing Ji-Han to her, thousands of miles away, at the heart of the mafia empire, another scene was unfolding for her 'husband,' Dmitri.

Dmitri's luxurious apartment was a secret fortress on the Russian coast. But even the palatial room could not cover the emptiness inside him.

Dmitri was lying on the bed in his massive bedroom. His clothes were dishevelled, and his face was blue with anguish. He was a mafia boss at the height of power, but now he was devastated by his single weakness—Jasmin's betrayal and absence. Meanwhile, Jasmin's husband was crying and lying down.

Dmitri was not making a sound, but his tears were soaking the pillow. His anger and frustration at being unable to control Jasmin were consuming him from within. Power, money, or any other woman could not take Jasmin's place.

Just then, an old and trusted Maid entered the room. The maid stood with a cautious and respectful bowed head.

"Sir," the maid said in a low voice. She was accustomed to Dmitri's weak state, but this message was important.

"Sir, Jasmin the Queen wants to speak with you," the maid said.

The maid's words seemed to send an electric current through Dmitri's body. He instantly stopped crying and sat up straight. A frightening hope, mixed with disbelief, ignited in his eyes.

Jasmin! She had not contacted him since she left. Why did she want to talk now?

Dmitri quickly wiped his eyes. The mafia boss instantly concealed his weakness. His voice was still slightly broken, but it held the firmness of power.

"Where? On which line?" Dmitri asked. He wanted to be sure it wasn't a trap.

After the maid left, Dmitri quickly got out of bed and went to his private communication room. It was a completely secure and encrypted communication setup. His assistant quickly handed him a satellite phone.

Dmitri held the phone to his ear. Jasmin's voice on the other end was cold, calm, and completely devoid of emotion—as if she were talking not to an old lover, but to a business rival. Then Jasmin called.

Jasmin spoke directly in Russian, to make the conversation more secret and harsh.

"Dmitri." Jasmin only said one word.

Dmitri's mind was filled with mixed emotions—anger, love, and suspicion. He concealed his broken emotions and restored his mafia boss coldness.

"Jasmin," Dmitri said sternly. "You called me! What do you take me for? Why are you playing games in Korea and making my life hell?"

Jasmin laughed now, but there was no warmth in it.

"I know you are suffering, Dmitri. That insane love of yours is causing you pain," Jasmin said. "But your weakness won't help your brother."

Dmitri was startled. "What are you talking about? My brother? Ziyaisko?"

"Yes," Jasmin said. "I came to Korea as per Aliyah's contract. I am attracting Ji-Han so he can find Ziyaisko's weakness, which is Maria."

Dmitri burst into anger. "Are you trying to set up my brother? How dare you?"

"No, I am not," Jasmin corrected calmly. "Aliyah and Ziyaisko are bringing Maria to Korea themselves. I am just pushing Ji-Han in that direction. But I called you for another reason."

Jasmin introduced a hint of secret conspiracy into her tone.

"Don't you want to see your brother's betrayal? Don't you want to understand Aliyah's true purpose? Ziyaisko has betrayed Viktor. He is weak because of Maria. If you had the power, wouldn't you punish Maria?"

Jasmin was provoking Dmitri's insane rage and desire for revenge. She was trying to turn Dmitri against his brother.

"Tell me, Dmitri," Jasmin whispered. "If I hand Maria over to you in Korea, what will you do? I want revenge. Will you participate in my revenge?"

There was no longer any doubt in Dmitri's mind. His desire to get Jasmin back and his fire for revenge against his brother's weakness overshadowed all logic. Dmitri knew that punishing Maria would weaken Ziyaisko, and Jasmin might return to him.

"I agree," he said in a harsh voice. "Hand Maria over to me. I will arrange it."

And without waiting for Jasmin's answer, Dmitri cut the call. This secret pact with Jasmin was like hammering the final nail into Viktor's empire's coffin.

The Ultimate Revenge: Maria's Disappearance

Three months passed.

Seoul was still abuzz with Jasmin's modeling and her mysterious presence. Aliyah and Ziyaisko had secretly brought Maria to Korea as per their plan, to lure Ji-Han into a trap. Jasmin was also pushing Ji-Han towards Maria's information.

But suddenly, a terrifying news spread across all intelligence networks and among the mafia brothers: Maria could not be found in Korea.

Ziyaisko became frantic, and Dmitri and Aliyah were also clueless. Maria had vanished into thin air. No one knew where Maria went.

Sitting in a luxurious hotel suite, Jasmin was watching the news of Ziyaisko's frustration on her phone. A look of satisfaction was on her face. Jasmin was laughing. The laughter was long, cold, and terrifying—a laugh of revenge.

The only reason Maria could not be found was: Jasmin had killed Maria.

Maria's death was not due to Dmitri's or Ziyaisko's revenge, but to Jasmin's personal wrath. The reason for killing Maria was tragic: Maria was the curse of Jasmin's childhood. Maria was the murderer who years ago brutally Maria murdered Jasmin's parents, which left Jasmin completely helpless/vulnerable.

Jasmin's international modeling life, marrying a mafia boss, using Ji-Han—everything was a long, complex drama staged for this one day, this one revenge. She had infiltrated the mafia network and punished the killer of her family with her own hands.

With Maria's death, Viktor, Aliyah, Dmitri, and Ziyaisko—no one in this game is safe anymore. Jasmin's real game has just begun.Jasmin was standing on the rooftop of a luxurious hotel in Seoul. The night city created a glittering backdrop behind her. She was wearing a long, black coat, which protected her from the cold night air while maintaining her 'Ice Queen' image. Her gaze was fixed on the city lights, and that victorious smile still lingered on her face.

Just then, Ziyaisko Volga came from behind.

He had approached silently, his eyes filled with mad rage and intense agony. Maria was his everything—his weakness, his secret love, the only soft spot in his life. Jasmin had not just killed her; she had erased her in such a way that Ziyaisko was now completely helpless.

Ziyaisko quickly advanced toward Jasmin. He grabbed her collar and forcefully pulled Jasmin towards himself.

"I will kill you," Ziyaisko whispered ferociously, his voice shaking with anger. "You killed my love! I won't just kill you; I will do something to you that you won't be able to show your face."

Ziyaisko's plan was not to kill Jasmin—because he knew Jasmin did not fear death—but to permanently destroy her greatest pride, her beauty and her modeling fame, so that she could never appear in public again.

Jasmin did not flinch at all. Her collar was in Ziyaisko's grip, but her eyes held a cold composure. She slowly raised her head and looked into Ziyaisko's eyes. Her smile widened, but there was no joy in that smile, only extreme mockery.

"And you think you have the liberty to decide if I show my face, Ziyaisko?" Jasmin said in a calm voice. "Your love? She was my family's killer. And you?"

Jasmin now used her hand to gently remove his tight grip from her collar.

"You are a traitor. Now you are weak. You won't kill me, Ziyaisko. Because you know that if I die, all your secrets, all your weaknesses will be exposed. You have nothing."

Jasmin took something out of her black coat pocket and placed it in Ziyaisko's hand. It was an old picture of Maria—her proof that Jasmin was the one who ended her.

"You worry about your brother now," Jasmin said. "Dmitri knows what you have done. The game has just begun."

Jasmin turned around and quickly walked away from the edge of the rooftop. Ziyaisko remained standing there, stunned, holding the photograph, the fire of his revenge burning in the lights of Seoul.
