Chapter 7 - Chapter 7

**Alpha's POV***

I could tell she was awake. I felt it in the air as we drove to the pack house. Her smell was soft and weird like roses and cinnamon. It was weird because I had never smelled anything like it before. I do not know how I knew it was her smell. I did.

When my guys brought her in, my wolf, Thorne got really excited. He jerked forward like he already knew her. She was pretty with her hair and small features but that was not why Thorne reacted like that. There was something about her that felt right. Like she was meant to be with us.

Claiming her should have been easy like with all the human girls.. She did not die. She did not even fight it like humans usually do. She felt something and that scared me. Humans are not supposed to react like that especially being fucked by an alpha king like me.

Unless she was not fully human.

I got out of the car. Walked towards the pack house. My guys bowed their heads as I walked by.

"Alpha," my guy Samuel said, walking up to me. "She is awake."

"I know " I said, my voice shaking a little.

Samuel looked at me funny. "Did your mom tell you?"

"My mom did not say anything " I said, stopping at the foot of the stairs. "I just know."

He. Left me alone. Thorne was moving around inside me like he was waiting for something. It was annoying. Why was he acting like this over some girl we barely knew? A girl who might be bad for the pack and for the kingdom if we could not claim her properly.

I needed to know what was going on. I needed to be in control. I needed to know what was happening with this girl.

I opened the door to her room.

She yelled at me "Who are you and why did you not knock?!"

She was standing there holding a towel to her chest. She was clearly scared. Water was still dripping from her hair. She must have just gotten out of the shower.

I had definitely forgotten to knock.

She glared at me like she wanted to hurt me. After a seconds of weird silence she yelled again "How dare you walk in on me while I am getting dressed? Who are you?"

I was surprised by how mad she was. Her eyes were green and sharp. They were fixed on me like she wanted to fight. I liked it.

"This is my house " I said, trying to sound calm. "I can go anywhere I want.. I did not see anything."

That was a lie. She knew it. Her face got even redder.

"So you are the one who kidnapped me?" she said, her voice shaking with anger. "You think you can take me and get away with it? I will tell the police soon as I get out of here."

I laughed,. It was not funny. If she only knew how far we were from the world. If she only knew she could not call anyone.

She got even madder. "How is that funny? You think I am a joke? Because if I were you I would be saying sorry now. A dickhead like you should not be kidnapping a girl like me."

Her words. When she called me a bad name, something inside me growled.. She did not back down.

**Halia's POV**

I finally saw the guy who kidnapped me. He was really annoying. He was also really good-looking. His weird orange-gold eyes made me feel cold as he walked towards me. I stepped back. He kept coming.

Oh no. Maybe I should not have called him a dickhead.

My back hit the wall. He stopped right in front of me. I held the towel tighter around me. He looked at me. His eyes went down to my body before he looked back up at my face. His jaw was tight like he was mad at himself.

There was something, about him that felt familiar. His smell. I had smelled it before. It was warm and sharp. It felt like I should know it.

Before I could figure it out he spoke.

"Call me a dickhead again " he said, his voice low and calm "and you will see what one really looks like.. By the way I am not the one standing here in a towel... Halia."

I froze. He knew my name.He said looking down on my towel.

My fingers tightened on the towel. Who was he? How did he know me?

He turned to leave. Then he stopped and looked back at me.

"One thing " he said quietly. "You are not going anywhere. So forget about going."

The door. I heard it lock.

"No... No... No!" I screamed, pulling on the door handle. It would not open. I cried, thinking about my mom, my friend Maggie and my life. I was not going home. I was stuck here.

I sat down on the floor holding the towel and cried harder. The room was too big and too quiet. I was all alone.
