Flying high in the sky, Urashiki was spotted by patrolling ninja before he even reached Konoha's barrier. The Byakugan of the Hyuga clan saw him first, followed by a few patrol ninja with flying summons.
They immediately notified Tsunade in the Hokage's office. But by the time the message reached her, it was too late. Otsutsuki Urashiki had already breached the space above Konoha's barrier and was preparing to drop a giant Rasengan.

"Talk? Talk about what? Are you willing to extract the Nine-Tails and give it to me?" Urashiki sneered. He had been tricked several times already. In the Cloud Village, the Fifth Raikage had pretended to negotiate, only to nearly seal him away.
So now his motto was: fight first, talk later.
"It's over..."
A giant Rasengan—no, a Tailed Beast Bomb—crashed down into the center of Konoha. Although Tsunade's close-range punches were monstrously powerful, she couldn't punch away a Tailed Beast Bomb. Could anyone just catch that thing with their bare hands?

Even more absurdly, it could allow its summoner to call forth a part of its body to assist in battle. For example, Jiraiya had once summoned its esophagus to trap Itachi and Kisame.
Later, he had summoned its stomach, which had directly trapped Nagato's Animal Path. The giant summoning animals of the Animal Path had been digested in its stomach.
The power of this Great Toad was not just in its size; its internal organs were incredibly strong, able to withstand Amaterasu and Pain's techniques.

The ground shook violently. The insects and birds in the forest scattered in terror. A moment later, two massive plumes of black smoke rose from the ground of Mount Myoboku—the smoke from the Tailed Beast Bomb explosion, emerging from the Great Toad's nostrils...
The Great Toad was hidden beneath the very earth of Mount Myoboku.
In a cave, the Sage Toad, Gamamaru, opened his eyes. He had been woken by the earthquake.
"That little Jiraiya... why is he throwing things at Mount Myoboku? He's disturbing my sleep..."
"Don't be angry. It's just a little burn on the mouth. It'll heal in a while..."
Gamamaru muttered to himself. He was talking to the Great Toad of Mount Myoboku...
He then closed his eyes and fell back into a deep sleep. Sleep was not only his way of prolonging his life, but also his way of cultivating sage art and seeing into the river of time.
Outside Konoha, a fierce battle was raging.
To stop Otsutsuki Urashiki from dropping more Rasengans on the village, the ninja of Konoha, for the first time, began to work together to defend their home. Those with flying summoning animals mounted them and took to the skies.

When the mushroom cloud dissipated, the whole of Konoha had been destroyed, just as it had been by Pain's Super Shinra Tensei in the other world. The difference was that the people in the center had been turned to ash, not even leaving a corpse behind.
Shinra Tensei was a physical impact; at least it left a body. But the Tailed Beast Bomb turned people to dust.
A few lucky ninja who had been on the periphery collapsed to the ground, their minds broken, muttering incoherently. Some just cried.
The earth trembled. From a mound of earth, a scorched tuft of hair was pushed aside, revealing Jiraiya hidden within. He was a complete mess. Fighting Urashiki head-on, he might have had a chance. But catching a Tailed Beast Bomb was not his specialty.
As the Tailed Beast Bomb fell, he had used all his sage energy, creating several ninjutsu to block it, trying to minimize the impact on Konoha. He had succeeded, and he had failed.
Otsutsuki Urashiki had captured three Tailed Beasts. The chakra in his body was immense, so the Tailed Beast Bomb he created was also massive. Jiraiya had only managed to block half of it, and he was gravely injured.
He had even been forced to release his Sage Mode. After all, if the three energies couldn't be balanced, continuing to maintain Sage Mode would only turn him to stone.

The resulting shockwave was powerful enough to make people several kilometers away unable to stand steady. The user's sweat would evaporate, creating a blue vapor around their body.
At that moment, Urashiki's Shinra Tensei, having just been used to block the Morning Peacock, was on cooldown for a few seconds. He had no time to defend against Guy's attack.
