Chapter 442 - Chapter 442: The Dream of the Tuffles

Baby crashed into the ground with devastating impact, his waist and abdomen feeling as though they'd been completely crushed. The tremendous force had launched him skyward, and it took considerable time before gravity finally dragged him back down. He struck the earth violently, his limbs trembling with weakness as he struggled fiercely against his failing body. Sounds of rage rolled in his throat like distant thunder.

"DAMN IT! What kind of power do you possess?!" His tone carried genuine horror, blood bubbling from his mouth with each labored word. Baby truly hadn't anticipated that Raditz's strength would prove so overwhelming—or that he possessed such unimaginable supplementary abilities.

Most importantly—he'd been outplayed.

Baby stood trembling, blood streaming from numerous wounds across his stolen body. A Saiyan's physiology often erupted with tremendous strength precisely in such desperate moments, and Broly's legendary biology was particularly renowned for becoming stronger through adversity—growing more formidable as battles progressed. Despite his depleted stamina reserves and body covered in grievous injuries, Baby persevered through sheer ferocious fighting spirit.

"You think this is enough to defeat me?!" he growled, clutching at his wounds even as uncontrollable blood continued flowing freely. "You have to die! The Saiyans all have to die! Every last one of you!"

His blood-stained chin trembled as Baby shook with desperate intensity. He raised both arms violently, accumulating energy for one final assault.

Ultimate Death Ball!

This represented Baby's absolute ultimate technique—a sphere of corrupted darkness created by gathering massive quantities of negative energy and concentrated hatred. Even Raditz couldn't help but feel impressed that resentment and grudges could be accumulated and weaponized to such extraordinary degree.

"You cannot defeat me!" Raditz declared, raising his own hand in response. The most perfect radiance materialized above his palm—the power of creation itself. Nova Radiance glowed with translucent white brilliance above his head, divine energy crackling with pure potential.

One black, one white—the two energy spheres grew larger and more imposing. Endless streams of power spiraled within each orb while their exteriors blazed with contrasting brilliance, dividing the entire dimensional space into two gorgeous yet opposed black-and-white domains.

The ground beneath both warriors rapidly shattered into gravel, which then pulverized further into dust and smoke. The starry void cracked open as the black curtain of the cosmos itself manifested around them directly.

The planet became a sacrifice to their ultimate confrontation. The Death Ball blended seamlessly into the dark cosmic background while the white Nova Radiance illuminated the splendor of the vast universe with divine radiance.

Raditz advanced slowly, radiating horrifying pressure. He launched the Nova Radiance directly—white light coalescing like countless points from the Milky Way galaxy itself. The concentrated luminescence pierced through spatial dimensions like a singularity bursting forth from the void, creating a massive gravitational vortex.

"ACCEPT YOUR END!"

The silent declaration somehow carried endless momentum!

Baby's eyes went wide, his teeth clenched so violently they nearly shattered.

He hurled the Ultimate Death Ball with everything remaining in his reserves. Simultaneously screaming internally: COME ON! COME ON! COME ON!!!

The two opposing forces finally collided in spectacular fashion. White divine light and black corrupted energy struggled against each other in the cosmic void, spreading outward in concentric waves of reality-warping fluctuations. The residual force disintegrated and pulverized numerous surrounding celestial bodies with shocking ease—even altering the orbital trajectory of the entire galaxy system.

Raditz discovered with surprise that the Nova Radiance and Death Ball possessed nearly identical power output—they were perfectly canceling each other out in mutual annihilation.

It demonstrated that Baby's strength, amplified by inhabiting Broly's legendary body, genuinely couldn't be underestimated after all.

The typically composed Raditz maintained his silence... until the final second when both energies completed their mutual destruction!

At that critical instant, Raditz raised his hand again, gathering another Nova Radiance at speeds barely distinguishable even to enhanced perception. Bypassing Baby's defensive energy cannon entirely, he flicked his wrist and launched it!

But the assault wasn't finished!

A second Nova Radiance followed immediately—Raditz teleported to Baby's opposite flank, the attack already prepared and launching again!

From every direction simultaneously, spatial gaps filled completely with converging white divine light. There was no escape.

Baby was utterly dumbfounded. He'd just finished matching Raditz's ultimate technique and believed the tide might turn in his favor. Who could have anticipated that his absolute limit represented merely a fraction of Raditz's true capabilities? An attack on the level of Ultimate Death Ball—Raditz could deploy it casually, repeatedly?! Impossible! It had to be impossible!

Baby's ferocious expression twisted into something approaching madness. His heart turned cold, his entire body wracked with bone-deep chills. His eyes flashed with desperate ferocity—but saw nothing except consuming white light from every angle.

An unprecedented explosion erupted throughout the cosmic void. Distant stars seemed to freeze in place, time itself appearing to halt. Only endless energy fluctuations shuttled through the frozen moment, obliterating countless planets along their devastating path. Raditz stood settled at the epicenter, mighty as a god of absolute destruction itself!

Though Raditz had employed overwhelming energy, he deliberately avoided killing Broly permanently—his purpose was neutralizing combat capability, not execution.

As expected, when the brilliant luminescence finally faded, Baby still clung to existence—barely. The concentrated bombardment had pierced through both his arms, and even his upper torso was nearly shattered completely, exposing flesh and bone in horrific detail.

He could no longer support his own weight. Physical strength drained rapidly while blood rushed through every wound in continuous streams.

Crimson droplets suspended in the zero-gravity environment, all originating from his devastated body.

Surely he possessed no remaining strength? No! There was more! Baby's resentment, his absolute conviction, proved unimaginably powerful! Though blood had nearly drained completely and his body screamed with agony beyond movement, the indomitable spirit burning in his core supported Baby enough to roar once more.

Even Raditz hadn't anticipated Baby rising yet again. He watched as the massive figure somehow rushed forward, embracing his body in a crushing grip and biting his shoulder with primitive ferocity—blood spattering from Baby's mouth. The attack carried negligible force, feeling like little more than an irritating itch against Raditz's Super Saiyan 4 durability. This represented Baby's absolute final strength—the desperate struggle of a dying warrior...

Super Saiyan 4 was simply too overwhelming, especially Raditz's particular manifestation of the form. His power was unprecedentedly dominant.

Raditz observed the crazed yet powerless Baby and sighed silently within his heart. He teleported both of them to a distant inhabited planet elsewhere in the universe—one with breathable atmosphere and solid ground. He easily pried Baby's arms loose, grabbed the broken body, and swung violently—throwing Baby directly into the alien soil below.

Baby's knees struck the earth. His arms dropped limply, his head hanging in defeat.

"It seems... you've won after all," Baby rasped, bitter laughter escaping his throat. "Hehehehe... I borrowed the power of the Saiyans themselves, yet still lost to a Saiyan. What a ridiculous ending. Raditz... if not for you specifically, I would have succeeded..."

Baby knelt on the ground, showing no signs of genuine repentance—he simply possessed no strength remaining to continue fighting.

Tears suddenly began flowing from Baby's eyes—genuine emotional release rather than tactical manipulation. "We Tuffles were originally a peace-loving civilization. We didn't seek conquest. We desired nothing beyond our own prosperity. Then those hateful Saiyans slaughtered my people..." His head lowered as he spoke slowly, wanting to express everything in his heart before death claimed him. "The dead cannot return. I could only pursue revenge—against the Saiyans, against the entire universe that allowed it to happen..."

Baby gritted his teeth and suddenly raised his head, bloodshot eyes blazing with final defiance. "My only mistake was encountering you! I refuse to accept this outcome!"

"You still have survivor," Raditz said quietly, his tone carrying unexpected gentleness.

"NO!" Baby interrupted forcefully. "Those remnants have abandoned the pride of the Tuffle people... abandoned our dream!" He gasped weakly, each breath a struggle.

Raditz regarded him silently, maintaining a beam of energy that locked Baby's position while preventing him from harming himself further. He spoke softly, almost sadly: "Everyone possesses dreams, Baby. But the dreams of the Tuffle people may not align with what you believe them to be. Perhaps... they simply desire a home. A place to live in peace."

Baby's eyes glazed over as consciousness began fading. Blood pooled beneath his broken body, spreading across the alien ground.

"A... home..." Baby whispered, the words barely audible. For just a moment, something beyond rage and hatred flickered in his dying gaze—perhaps memory of what his civilization had been before war consumed everything.

Then his eyes closed, and the parasitic entity finally released its grip on Broly's body.
