Chapter : 21 : Delia Steelheart :

" Attention everyone ! this is your class teacher professor Frost speaking . "
Alister Frost started speaking while every student on the ground became extremely quiet .
" Today I have two important announcements for you all . "
Hearing this everyone's attention became sharp .
And most of them have already guessed what the first reason is going to be .
" Today a new student will be joining the class . "
With that professor Frost gestured the girl behind him to come forward .

But that's just how it worked especially in the noble society which is full of complicated webs of schemes .
And one must understand that not every noble young masters are like that idiotic Marus Baronet.
Infact most of the young noble boys and girls are quite sharp .
Yes ! They are arrogant and more often than not looked down on commoners .
But that doesn't mean they are idiots.
They understand the power dynamic of the royal courts and are tought to make good relationships with the strongs .
So although Delia Steelheart was not a noble born however her background made her one of the top individuals to make friends with .
Especially if it meant having a good relationship with her father Eren Steelheart .
And at this moment there was only a few people among their age who are not effected by Delia's background .
The first was obviously Zeal Cloudseaker the original hero .
While his sister Jenny was quite shocked like the rest of the people , Zeal on the other side like any good protagonist couldn't understand the full situation .
Well ! What do you expect from the boy who literally caused a fight in a royal banquet right infront of the king and queen.
To him Delia's father Eren twas strong and respected .
But what's there is to fear .
Infact in the original story when he first met Eren Steelheart it turned hilarious as he greeted him by saying - ' How are you doing pops ! '
Yes ! That's what he said to one of the strongest and most feared man in the kingdom .
And also a typical action that you can expect from someone of this character .
Two other people who are not affected by the situation were the the second prince and Elera Ros Thalric .
One of them was the second prince of the kingdom and the other was the daughter of the Duke of the East .
So they weren't afraid of the situation.
Obviously that does not mean that they will take fights with Delia .
It's just that unlike the others they are simply strong enough to stand on the same level and would not have to bow their heads.
And the last person who looked unsurprised and indifferent by the situation was obviously the most bravest person in the story .
It was obviously none other than Cian V Keolos .
Cian did not belong to any strong families nor the plot armour .
But his future knowledge of the world and its character gave him the an unique advantage .
The reason why he was not particularly afraid of the situation was that because he knew the character of the both father and daughter very well .
While many people feared Eren Steelheart for obvious reasons like strength and his over protective nature .
Cian on the other hand knew that both Eren Steelheart and his daughter were both warriors by heart .
And they would never harm someone innocent just because they like it .
Yes ! Eren Steelheart can get a lot more intimidating and perhaps a little more forceful when it comes to his daughter .
But it is only because he truly loves her and not because he is eager to show him dominance and strength to anyone else .
Moreover the man himself hated those who tried to use small schemes and flattery to try to gain his favour .
" The best thing one can do to get his favour is to be showing his real face not a fake one . "
It was also the reason why he had a good impression of Zeal during the first meeting because instead of using unwanted flattery and cheesy words he used what came out of his heart .
Even if the words were not quite formal , polite or diplomatic they came from heart and showed Zeal's true nature .
' And the same can be said for Delia Steelheart as well . '
If one were to describe her character it would be more a free spirited person who was trained as a warrior .
Thanks to the guidance and training given by her father she was quite the capable worrier trained in swordsmanship .
And in the future she would be the second strongest swordsman in the hero party after Zeal Cloudseaker .
She used a signature repair that was actually a powerful item found by her father in a dungeon hunt.
And along with her mastery in thunder magic she was one of the fastest attackers in the series .
Her lightening fast strikes and trusts were so legendary in the future she earned herself the title - ' The Storm's Needle . '
However some people in his past life said that her performance in the Abyssal continent arc was not quite good especially considering she lost quite the few times .
And even Cian would agree with that .
' She is an excellent Warrior however is very much vulnerable due to her excessive pride . '
Raised to be an warrior with honour she was a person who cared a lot about the way battles were fought .
And there was nothing wrong about it .
' A person without honour and without pride is nothing but a hollow shell . '
Even Cian believed in this as there are certain lines that even he will not cross .
But still there was a limit to everything and Cian knew that .
While he was a person with a code crystal had a flexible mind to understand that while he would follow the rules his enemies might not.
However many times in the series Delia Steelheart had problems to understand this simple yet crucial fact .
Just like the hero who always runs into trouble with his believe in the power of friendship she also did the same thing but in her case its due to her pride .
' However unlike the hero she is not the person chosen by the heaven . '
And if not for the fact that she was an important character within the series being the second heroine perhaps she would have met her end in one of those reckless charges .
In many battles she was fooled by weaker enemies and had to take help from others .
' Eventually in the future this problem will become lower however it will still be there . '
Thinking about it Cian couldn't help but shake his head .
' As they say old habits die hard . '
And it will take her a long time to control this trouble of her's .
But on another matter one must say that this Zeal Cloudseaker has an amazing power .
I was one of the strongest power any protagonist can have .
And that power is....
' The power of actually making such beautiful and strong girls fall in love with him without even trying .
First there was Liora then came Delia .
And is this just a start and there were many more in line .
And to Cian it was just as outstanding as it was frustrating .
' But at least now Liora is by my side . '
Just thinking about it brought a triumphant grin on Cian's face
It was really one of the greatest achievements an extra like him can ever achieve .
And that is to make his own harem .
While he was having his internal of thoughts professor Frost had already started speaking again .
" Alright everyone calm down right now . "
Instantly the atmosphere that was filled with different kinds of of murmurs came to a pin drop silence the moment professor Frost started speaking again .
It seems that even Delia Steelheart who was standing behind him right now felt quite surprised after seeing this scene.
It was now that she started to understand why her father had mentioned to train properly under professor Frost as much as she can .
After all getting respect from her father was a challenging task on its own.
After looking at the silent and disciplined crowd of students finally the professor started to speak again .
" Now that we have discussed the first important topic of today's gathering then it's time we discuss the second topic . "
" And that is.... "
