Chapter 777 - Chapter 777: Coffee

Aphrodite frowned while asking, "What sort of reward? I highly doubt you're going to let me fuck Adam."

"No, you're right about that," Rowena replied, and as Aphrodite was about to say more, Rowena added with a smirk. "We are going to let you suck his dick, though."

"Huh?" Aphrodite asked as if not quite believing what she had heard. "Sorry, could you repeat that?"

"Lorelie was concerned at the fact that you might have started ageing, and it appears she was right," Rowena explained. "Because of this and as thanks for the help and advice you have given since joining us, it's been decided that you can use your mouth to extract Adam's cum and satiate your hunger."

Rowena had expected Aphrodite to be all smiles and cheers at the news, but contrary to her expectations, Aphrodite simply looked at her suspiciously while asking, "There's got to be more to it than that."

"What makes you think that?" Rowena asked innocently.

"Because I could feed off any one of you, so why would you let me feed off Adam, when you all feared that he might become addicted to me?" Aphrodite answered.

"Ah, well, you just answered your own question, well, partially," Rowena smiled. "It actually comes down to two reasons: first is because we have decided that we need to test and see if Adam really can resist you and then decide how to proceed depending on the result."

"And the second reason?" Aphrodite asked.

"After last night's… incident with Erkath, Adam persuaded us that he should be able to sample the goods before deciding whether someone can join the harem," Rowena answered.

"Sample the goods?" Aphrodite repeated in surprise. "Adam suggested that?"

"Well, those weren't his exact words, but that's essentially what it boils down to," Rowena explained. "From this point on, he will be able to partake in sexual activities with potential harem members to help determine if they're compatible with each other."

"And that includes me as I'm also a potential harem member?" Aphrodite asked with the first signs of excitement.

"Yes," Rowena acknowledged. "But you're only allowed to do such things when given permission; you are still being tested, after all."

"While I can't deny that I'm disappointed, I'm still satisfied since I won't have to worry about ageing," Aphrodite said with a smile that quickly turned into a smirk as she asked. "So can I go taste him now?"

"Only if you want the ire of Tephe and Revi," Rowena chuckled.

"Ugh, who is it?" Emma complained as she was woken by the sound of someone knocking on her.

"Emma, are you up yet?" Erkath's voice asked from the other side of the door.

"Erkath?" Emma asked while still half asleep. "It's too early; come back later."

"Early?" Erkath asked with a smile as she opened the door and entered. "It's mid-morning; we've all already eaten, and Adam is about to teach Revi how to swim. How can you call this early?"

"Huh?" Emma asked as she rolled over to the bedside table. "Where's my phone?"

Erkath gave a confused look while asking, "You mean that basic communication device you Earthlings have?"

"Oh, right, I have a uniband now," Emma replied as she fumbled with her uniband to check the time. "How's it already so late?"

"Seems Muriel was right and you ended up going to bed late," Erkath chuckled.

"I was planning world conquest," Emma said while attempting to stifle a yawn.

"World conquest?" Erkath repeated in surprise. "Revi said something about you coming up with a business idea. I guess planetary conquest could be a kind of business opportunity, but I never expected you to consider it. What planet did you have in mind?"

"Earth," Emma replied, this time failing to stifle her yawn.

"Oh, interesting," Erkath said with a smile. "Tell me your idea."

Emma nodded as she rolled out of bed. "Sure, but first I need coffee."

"What's coffee?"

"Lorelie, would it be possible to have you sign this poster?" Muriel asked as she entered the kitchen where Lorelie was getting herself a drink.

"Of course." Lorelie smiled while looking at the poster in question. "Wow, isn't this the promotional poster from when I performed on Tsuna?"

"That's right; it was my first time seeing you perform live." Muriel smiled. "The team I was playing for at the time had a match there, and I was lucky enough to get tickets."

"I would hardly call getting tickets lucky; back then my shows hardly ever sold out," Lorelie said with a smile.

"You had just started your singing career and weren't even a diva yet, so it's not really a surprise," Muriel consoled.

"There is no need for you to console me." Lorelie chuckled as she signed the poster. "Though there is something I need to discuss with you."

"What would that be?" Muriel asked as she inspected the signed poster happily.

Lorelie was about to open her mouth to speak when Emma and Erkath's arrival interrupted her.

"Coffee, coffee," Emma mumbled as she entered the kitchen still in her nightie.

"Emma, I'm not sure walking around in such revealing clothing is appropriate," Erkath stated. "Also, what's this coffee you keep going on about?"

"It's the drink of the gods," Emma replied as she stumbled over towards the portable food replicator they had brought over from Spector, which was around the size of an actual coffee machine.

"Well, look who finally woke up," Lorelie teased.

"Whoa, she looks dead on her feet; you should have let her sleep more," Muriel remarked.

"You might be right." Erkath nodded as Emma reached the food replicator and said, "Coffee, black."

"Is coffee a type of drink?" Muriel asked curiously. "And why black?"

"It's an Earth drink that has an… acquired taste," Lorelie explained. "Also, black is just how Emma wants the coffee; it seems there are many different variations of it."

Erkath nodded before asking, "I'm guessing you've tried it before?"

"I have, though, as I said, it's an acquired taste," Lorelie replied. "When I do have it, I tend to have it on the weaker side, unlike Rowena and Aphrodite, who like theirs strong."

"Maybe it's an age thing?" Muriel asked. "The older you are, the stronger you like it?"

"Possibly, while Emma has built up a taste for it," Erkath replied.

"Ahh," Emma suddenly said. "Truly is the nectar of the gods."

"Is it really that good?" Muriel asked in surprise.

"She's making it out to be even better than God's Oasis," Erkath stated in surprise.

"I don't think any drink I have ever tried beats God's Oasis," Emma, who was now slightly more alert, said as she took another sip. "However, nothing beats coffee to help you kick-start your day."

"Mind if I give it a taste?" Erkath asked, while looking at the coffee with interest.

"Sure," Emma replied as she handed it over.

Erkath sniffed the coffee slightly, causing her eyes to widen as she said, "It certainly has a nice smell." After speaking, she took a delicate sip, causing her eyes to widen even more.

Lorelie was about to ask what she thought, but before she could, Erkath had quickly drained the entire cup.

"Seems she likes it," Mureil laughed.

"Hey!" Emma complained. "That was mine, Erkath. Next time, you just get your own?"

"Sorry, sorry," Erkath apologised. "I was just so surprised at how nice it was."

"Hmph," Emma replied before turning back to the portable food replicator and saying. "Two coffees, black."

Loreli laughed before saying, "Seems Tephe was right to ask Adam if there was a way they could bring ice cream."

"Yup," Emma nodded. "This thing's way easier to transport around than a bunch of ice cream tubs."

"So now that you've woken up slightly, are you going to explain to me how you plan to conquer Earth?" Erkath asked.

"You want to conquer Earth?" Lorelie asked in surprise. "Don't you think that's a bit far-fetched at this stage?"

"Oh, I wont be the one conquering Earth; Adam will," Emma replied as she grabbed the cups of coffee and handed one to Erkath before taking a seat at the kitchen table.

Lorelie's eyes widened in surprise as she asked, "Adam plans to conquer Earth? Why don't I know about this?"

"Well, I haven't discussed it with him yet, as it's something I only came up with last night." Emma shrugged.

"No offence, but I'm not sure he'll be too interested," Lorelie replied. "I mean, it's plainly obvious that he has no interest in Earth. The only reason he returned last time was to help you."

"Which I appreciate and plan to thank him for by running his business to the best of my abilities," Emma stated. "But sooner or later, Earth is going to join the known universe, and I think it would be a good idea for him to claim it as his own before that happens."

"Are you sure you're not just doing this because you like the idea of ruling over your home planet?" Erkath teased.

"I can't deny that I like the idea of lording it over those who oppressed me and my businesses in the past," Emma smirked.
