'I dislike resurrection anchors.'
Corvus crouched slightly, examining the crystal.
"You're setting a respawn here?" he asked flatly.
"Contingency," Lux replied.
Corvus straightened slowly.
"You're still going? Even knowing it might be dangerous?"
Lux adjusted his cuff.
"I have to. I don't have a choice."
Corvus folded his arms.
"That's usually when people die, boss."
Lux gave him a sideways look.
"Encouraging."
"I'm realistic."
Lux exhaled slowly.
"Just… I need your backup in case the worst happens."
Corvus's expression sharpened.
"What do you mean worst?"
"Full security mode. Protect this mansion."
Corvus blinked.
"…From who?"
Lux shrugged lightly.
"Anyone."
Zehar made a soft displeased wobble.
"Pu!"
"Yes, you too," Lux said dryly.
Corvus looked between the Save Point Crystal and Lux.
"You think they'd attack your home."
