Her head snapped upwards towards Asher's position. The moment her head snapped upwards, all she saw was a foot closing in on her forehead.
Her body moved on pure reflex; she didn't block, her body moved faster than her mind as her back snapped backwards as she bent, her spine becoming parallel to the ground. The moment she bent, she felt the force behind Asher's attack blow through her face as his foot streaked past her in a blur.
