Staring at the tree that was literally right in front of him yet he couldn't get to it, he sighed and gave up. He decided to sit down for a moment, he lowered himself into a lotus position on the hard ground, he let his spatial senses spread as though he was trying to pick up on the unstable spatial fluctuations and disturbances, then compare them to normal, stabilized space.
He sat in that position without moving for over ten minutes as his spatial senses simply gathered data and made comparisons. It was like comparing two different mathematical equations, you knew one was correct, and you knew one was wrong, and all you had to do was follow the structure of the right one to see through the wrong equation.
Just by doing this, Asher felt as though his control over space was increasing, but it was just a feeling, whether it was an illusion-like feeling or whether he was actually improving, he didn't know, but he didn't move.
