Lyra stayed silent as she walked. She couldn't imagine a man as invincible as the Primarch coming face to face with death. She didn't ask the Head Butler to go into detail, like what Life Rank the Duke was at that moment, or what enemy he encountered to push him to such a state.
She knew even if she asked, the man wouldn't say, the fact he was already talking about the Duke coming close to death was generous enough.
Although, obviously, the Primarch wasn't a Duke yet at the time, but still... it seemed mind-numbing.
