The Space Port was effectively just a huge open flat space where various ships could dock. There were obviously defensive facilities set up. All kinds of droids and bodyguards of various Species. Then there were the actual passengers and pilots that got on or off the vehicles. Plus the hovering cars, trucks, bikes and even some tanks that were moving around constantly. It wasn't that chaotic though, simply due to the fact that the area was vast enough.
Massive cargo ships that were hundreds of meters long were able to be spaced out hundreds of meters from each other. There were only a handful of those. Tatooine was a pretty small place after all. And Mos Espa was only one of several Space Ports on the planet. There were hundreds of small to medium sized vessels that were just parked there, but there were also starship dealers who had their own areas of the Star Port where they operated.
Asmodeus and Shmi were standing in the middle of one such Starship Dealership. There were only 'small' vehicles, no more than 50 meters. There were a lot of familiar appearances to the Asmodeus, but one in particular stood out a lot.
"How much for that one?"
"The YT-1300?" Shmi turned to the two-meter tall, green skinned Trandoshan man who was wearing a yellow flight suit, then asked him in 'Huttese'.
"He says a thousand Peggats, but a used YT-1300 is only seven hundred at most."
"Okay, tell him. He'll sell it to us for seven hundred." Asmodeus glared at the lizard-man as Shmi spoke again in Huttese. Eventually she transferred over the Peggats digitally and then he handed over the authorization code, keycodes, et cetera.
"Master, although I don't want to question your decisions… Maybe we should have took a look inside first? For all we know, this ship is missing a hyperdrive."
"It's a good ship. Almost brand new." He narrowed his eyes as the Trandoshan quickly left, "I might not speak his language, but the Force does. And it also knows what he's done. Plus, I can read his fucking mind. The ship is fine, it's basically just stolen goods that he's trying to get rid of quickly."
"Stolen from whom?" Shmi frowned, "Will the owners come looking for it?"
"I hope so." Asmodeus smirked and walked towards the right side of the shiny silver ship. Compared to the famous 'Millennium Falcon', this YT-1300 was much younger and also significantly larger. About 44 meters long, instead of 34. Looking from above, it was basically a large disk with a triangle jutting out of the front. There weren't any pieces missing from the durasteel plating, no previous damage. A single turret was sticking out of the top, with another slightly bigger turret underneath. There were also some torpedo ports on the sides, though they were hard to notice. On the back, there were a bunch of closed holes; exhaust ports. The engines on the back were built into the disk shape, not jutting out as an obvious weakness. There were airlocks on both sides of the ship, which slightly protruded. Under the airlocks were the loading ramps.
"Why is the cockpit sticking out of the side like this anyway?"
Asmodeus looked up in confusion as the two of them walked under the cone which had some tinted glass windows. Though from their angle, all they could see was the shiny silver durasteel bottom.
"Master, this is a light freighter meant to haul cargo. Did you see the bow?"
"Uh huh…" Asmodeus nodded as they waited for the ramp to lower. The truck also drove over automatically and backed up not far from the ramp. Nobody was watching, so he casually used the Force to move the boxes inside of the ship. Then Shmi sent a message through her datapad that was like a small tablet, causing the truck to drive away.
"The mandibles can hold a long, heavy and thick load of cargo containers."
"Oh really?" He snickered and reached down to grab her tight ass through the gray robe and the damp pants underneath.
"Yes, so even though the ship is rather small and lithe, she can actually fit a lot in her mouth."
"Just like you?" Asmodeus grinned as the two of them entered inside the ring-shaped hallway at the center of the ship. The ramp closed behind them automatically. The inside was brightly illuminated. To the left was one of the three passenger cabins. But they turned to the right and a bunch of metal boxes were moving ahead of them with a wave of that crimson hand.
"Master… Do you smell that? It's… It's kind of familiar."
"It does remind me of someone, but slightly different."
He snickered as they walked past the entrance to the cockpit on the right and a small entrance leading up/down to the turrets on the left. Then they saw the wide-open passenger lounge. There was a semi-circular couch up against the side, with a round table and a few individual chairs. A small kitchen was over on the side wall.
"Do you wanna put our stuff in the cargo hold for now or just leave it here in the lounge?"
"Are we in a rush? Is it dangerous?"
"Not sure." Asmodeus shrugged and put the crates down in the middle of the lounge. There were metal double-doors in front of them. Shmi walked over to the console on the wall and put in a code, but it didn't work.
"Master… Someone must have changed the code since we came inside the ship."
"Yep." Asmodeus pressed his palm on the doors and felt the fear, anxiety and anger emanating from the other side.
"Open the door."
There was silence for a whole minute aside from their breathing. Shmi in particular was jittery. Finally the big metal doors opened to the sides. Revealing the Fright Loading Room. Across from where they entered were two more double-doors, which led outside. There was also a conveyor belt leading to the right. The Cargo Hold.
"Master… I think we're in trouble."
Along the conveyor belt was a trail of greenish-yellow slime. The double doors on the right were also open and a pungent odor assaulted them.
