Andrew Hughes held her hand, looked up slightly, and softly asked, "Mom, can we not cook and eat out instead?"
"We made plenty of dumplings; we just need to steam them to eat," Crystal Hughes smiled brightly, stroked his head, and gently asked, "How about we just have dumplings for breakfast today?"
Andrew asked suspiciously, "Just steam them and they're ready?"
"Of course."
"...Alright then."
Andrew had to go along with her idea.
Crystal was pleased and asked him, "Can you wash up by yourself?"
"Yes."
Andrew nodded.
"Then you go first," Crystal curved her lips, "Mommy will steam the dumplings right away."
"Okay."
Andrew agreed.
As he walked a few steps, he thought of something and turned back to look at Crystal, "Mom, where's Camilo?"
Crystal paused for a moment.
She lowered her eyelids and said softly, "He left."
