Jayvaughn looked at Commanding General Luke with a gaze that was steady and unwavering. He understood the weight of the request he was making, but he also knew the capability of the person waiting for this data.
"Sir, you really do not have to be worried about this," Jayvaughn said, his voice dropping into a solemn tone. "This hacker is completely trustworthy. I assure you of this with my honor."
Commanding General Luke remained silent for a long while, his eyes searching Jayvaughn's face for any sign of hesitation.
He finally exhaled, a weary sound that signaled his decision. In reality, the General felt he didn't have much of a choice anyway.
