Sunlight dapples down through the canopy above her, streaking violet-gold light across the forest floor, as Vuvela Blackthorn leans hard against a tree trunk and empties her stomach into the leaf-litter at her feet with a wet Hurgh~.
Her glimmercat purrs beside her, nudging her hip with visible concern, an oddly tender gesture for a predator built entirely out of light and menace.
"There is something wrong with this cat!" Vuvi yells, wiping her mouth as she steps out from behind the tree.
"That's just Jerry," Sha'Rona chuckles. "He's a little unhinged. Even I can't stomach riding him."
Vuvi gasps, a sound of pure, wounded betrayal, and twists around with her mouth already open to give Sha'Rona a proper scolding, only to spin straight back and empty her stomach again instead.
Jerry gives a worried meowy-growl and nudges her backside gently with his nose.
