Su Jin was conflicted, but it was only for a brief moment. After all, he had always wanted to be pampered by his family, so such an outcome was a happy event. However, he did feel it was inexplicable that he had suddenly gained another mother and father.
Speaking of his mother and father, he should probably send another message to them to let them know he was safe.
Meanwhile, Su Jin was changing, An Mo, who had turned his head away, turn back slightly and peeked at him.
After fulfilling his curiosity with that single glance, An Mo looked away contentedly.
After taking off his clothes, Su Jin took the towel from An Mo, and after wrapping it around his waist haphazardly, he pulled An Mo towards the nearest room.
"Xai-xai, take your time changing. Little Jin and I, will go in first."
An Mo managed to say before he was dragged into the room by Su Jin.
Xai Lin smiled before she took her time changing her clothes.
With a larger towel wrapped around her chest, all the way down to just above her knees, she entered the hot spring room. However, what she saw upon entering, was An Mo dejectedly sitting in front of one the dozen or so showerheads off to the side, while watching Su Jin excitedly running around the other side of the room.
If one looked closer, one might even be able to see that An Mo's eyes held a bit resentment while watching Su Jin.
Xai Lin walked over to the showerhead next to An Mo and sat down on a small stool next to him.
Before Xai Lin could ask why he was so dejected, An Mo turned to her and said in an aggrieved tone.
"Xai-xai, that little bastard is so heartless! I haven't even washed his back for five seconds before he jumped up and wanted to look around the room. What's so good about looking around at a hot spring than spending time with his fa-cough-cough-cough!… I mean, his older brother."
An Mo finished his complaint, but he blushed slightly as he almost revealed his thoughts.
Xai Lin chuckled, then said.
"You can't blame him. Some areas in the pavilion have been extended using spatial runes to make more space. This hot spring is one such area. And for Artifact Refiners, such methods are core secrets, that very few have."
An Mo pouted, but he didn't refute Xai Lin's words. Of course, he had realized the uniqueness of the pavilion long ago. After all, the pavilion was only so big, so where could so many rooms fit? Much less having a library, and a bath house that was like a hot spring.
Just look how big this room was, Su Jin's surprised exclamations were even bouncing off the walls and echoing.
An Mo shot an annoyed glare at Su Jin, who was staring at the scenery moving past outside. Seeing that he was at the edge of the opening, which gave one a view of outside the ship, even though there was a sturdy barrier to block out the intense winds or someone accidentally falling out, An Mo still loudly scolded.
"Hey! Don't stand so close to the edge! What if the barrier accidentally malfunctions and you fall outside!?"
Frighten by the shout, Su Jin hurriedly jump back from the edge of the ship before turning to say to An Mo.
"So-Sorry, Elder Brother An Mo."
After saying that, Su Jin largely calmed down and finally decided to soak in the hot spring.
"Don't scold the kid for no reason. Even if he falls out, can't he fly with his mid-level Foundation Establishment Realm?"
Xai Lin pinched An Mo's waist making him wince in pain, before she turned to pick up a small vial that was on a narrow shelf in front of her.
"Turn around."
Xai Lin said, as she was about to pour the contents of the vial into her palm. However, An Mo quickly took it from her and said.
"No, let me wash your back first."
Xai Lin rolled her eyes in response, but she still turned around and took off her towel before placing in over her lap.
Without saying anything, An Mo poured some of the contents inside the vial into his palms before rubbing them together. Afterwards, he carefully brushed his palms across Xai Lin's back.
However, something was strange. Despite having Xai Lin exposed right in front of him, An Mo's expression was somewhat neutral. Even when he told Xai Lin to turn around, his expression remained the same. As for the towel covering her waist and lap, it was avoided.
Xai Lin raised an eyebrow upon seeing this. It didn't take long for her to notice his abnormality.
The shower heads were a Spirit Artifact in the shape of a circular disk that can produce water using the water runes carved on it. It could also be controlled using one's thoughts after leaving a temporary soul imprint on it.
After washing the soap off Xai Lin's back and hands, An Mo moved to her legs while saying.
"I'll wash your hair separate, okay?"
Xai Lin seemed infected by An Mo's suddenly solemn attitude, so she only answered with a soft hum.
While using the spirit artifact to wash the soap off of Xai Lin's feet, An Mo used his hands as well.
As he was rubbing Xai Lin's foot, he suddenly paused, and without looking up at Xai Lin, he nervously bit his lip before softly calling out.
"Xai-xai…"
"Hm?"
An Mo fell silent after saying that.
Xai Lin looked down at him, and seeing his hesitation, she realized he must have been thinking about something serious. But at this point in their relationship what could make him this hesitant to voice his thoughts?
After thinking for a moment, Xai Lin decided to just asked the person.
"What is it An Mo? Are you planning on separating from me?"
"Huh?"
An Mo jolted at those words, and he instinctively lift his head to refute, but paused when he saw Xai Lin's smiling at him.
Realizing he was being teased, An Mo awkwardly scratched his slightly wet hair but still said.
"Of course, that's not it… it just that…"
After another bout of hesitation, An Mo finally spoke what had been bothering him since they left the room.
