Just after eight in the evening, Qiao Shuning suddenly appeared at the house.
Qiao Cheng and his wife were a bit surprised to see her. Zheng Xiu Zhu asked, "Why did you suddenly come back? You didn't say anything, have you eaten? You look so rushed."
Qiao Shuning was almost out of breath with urgency as she entered the living room and looked directly at Qiao Cheng. She said, "Dad, I have something to ask you."
Qiao Cheng looked bewildered and said, "What's the matter? What happened?"
Qiao Shuning glanced outside and didn't bother going to the study, asking directly, "What did my grandparents do?"
"Huh?" Qiao Cheng hadn't expected her to suddenly ask this.
Zheng Xiu Zhu also looked at her in confusion, not knowing why she was in such a hurry to ask this.
Seeing that neither of them had answered, Qiao Shuning asked again, "What did my grandparents do?"
