"Where is Old Li's house!"
Leng Yichen's eyes were bloodshot as he stared at Mrs. Qiao's older sister-in-law, every cell in his body desperately wanting to know the answer.
The sister-in-law was startled. She was speaking nicely, and this rude man suddenly came over to intimidate her. Although she was afraid of Leng Yichen's gaze, she braced herself and said, "You're so rude, I'm eating. What if you scare me and I choke?"
Leng Yichen didn't want to waste words with her, took out all his money from his pocket and slapped it on the table, "Hurry up and tell me! Where is Old Li's house!"
The sister-in-law's eyes were glued to the money on the table, all crisp red bills, adding up to at least two or three thousand.
"All this for me?" The sister-in-law looked at Leng Yichen incredulously, then picked up the money and flatteringly said, "Boss Leng, come with me, I'll take you! It's at the east end of the village near my home!"
