Before long, Beatrice arrived at the scene.
Louis looked at her in surprise and said:

Beatrice's lips curved upward:
"And what about the Shadow Country incident?"
Louis coughed and said with a bit of embarrassment:
"I couldn't just stand by and watch the little swan get bullied, right?"
Beatrice said helplessly, "You just keep being stubborn..."
She reached out gently to caress Louis's cheek and whispered:
"But even when you're stubborn, I still like it."
