Blake Leaf suddenly widened his eyes, staring at the document bag in front of him, completely at a loss.
His parents always claimed he was their biological child and didn't even know who left him at their doorstep. How could there be formal adoption papers?!
Blake Leaf incredulously picked up the document bag, pulling out a few legal documents.
He hurriedly skimmed through them, instinctively retorting, "This can't be true. I was left at my adoptive parents' doorstep, how could there be adoption documents? They don't even know who left me there!"
Nick Zeller looked at him with pity, and even reached out to pat his shoulder, "They just didn't want to lose you. Actually, they knew, from the very beginning."
"Was it you who gave me to them for adoption?!" Blake Leaf suddenly looked up, "Why would you do that?! Even if you wanted to send me for adoption, why not find a better family?!"
