"Let's go, check out that room!" Old Xu waved his hand and walked ahead.
Arriving at the adjacent room, Old Xu peeked outside.
To the left was the inner street, swaying with numerous zombies.
To the right was an endless expanse of wilderness.
Only straight ahead lay Old Xu's target.
The estimated distance between the houses was about 1 meter. If a suitable bridging material could be found, they could climb over and thus avoid the zombies outside.
With this in mind, Old Xu immediately turned around. Upon seeing Old Xu looking around everywhere, Hua Biao curiously asked, "Captain, what are you looking for?"
Old Xu briefly explained his idea to Hua Biao, who promptly responded, "There's a long plank downstairs, quite sturdy, suitable for bridging."
"Let's go! Bring it up!" Old Xu instantly agreed, then followed Hua Biao downstairs. Together they carried one end of the plank each and lifted it to the second floor.
