"Huh?"
Chloe found herself bewildered.
Every time Miseria's gaze met his, it would involuntarily shift away.
Chloe slightly got up and said:
"So-sorry, I've rested enough, I should be leaving now."
But Miseria suddenly reached out and grabbed his wrist.
Chloe turned around and saw Miseria slightly bowing her head, not daring to look at him.
Yet her hand remained firmly holding onto him.
"Where are you going?"
"Don't go, okay? Stay with me a bit longer."
Chloe could sense the difficulty in Miseria's voice as she asked him to stay.
He took a deep breath, turned around, and squatted in front of her.
"Senior, we've both had too much to drink today. You should lie down and rest. Let's talk tomorrow, okay?"
Chloe didn't want Miseria to do something she'd regret.
But Miseria gently shook her head and said:
"No, I know I've drunk a lot, so stay with me, please.
Keep me company today, and you can still be with me tomorrow, junior, can't you?"
