As soon as Ansheng got home, she saw a girl lying on Ah Qing's lap, sobbing like a cuckoo bleeding tears. The girl's voice was hoarse from crying, so she took a sip of cola to soothe her throat.
"Xiaolan, back already? Didn't get bitten, right?" Ah Qing patted the crying girl's head and noticed the little fox gazing out from the window sill, greeting him.
