But since the spaceship in phase space is already in phase space, the ordinary weapons used have inherently taken on the properties of phase space.
When attacking entities within the same space, no special abilities are required.
All that needs to be done is to send the ordinary cruisers into phase space.
And the only issue with doing this lies in energy radiation.
Ships in phase space have no way to dissipate energy radiation.
But as long as the ship is sent out of phase space before the energy radiation overloads, the problem is also resolved. This makes it perfectly feasible to use ordinary ships as temporary phase ships.
This is one of the interim solutions proposed by the Empire's ship research institutes with phase ship projects after the Fan Chao Research Institute developed equipment capable of sending whole space stations into phase space, addressing the issue of phase ships not yet being able to directly participate in combat.
