Zhou Qi found himself unable to describe his current mood.
The feeling that had been suppressed to rock bottom seemed to burst into fireworks in an instant.
But he didn't rush up to hug Xiao Rou and tell her he liked her, that he had always liked her.
He was restraining himself, yet clumsily trying to control it.
He was wrong, he misunderstood.
The hand in Zhou Qi's pocket was still clenched into a fist, but this time, he was happy.
Zhou Qi's eyes became very bright, and when he saw Xiao Rou looking at him after finishing her laughter, Zhou Qi smiled and said, "That idiot, Zhou Chengchen."
Xiao Rou didn't think much of it, only assumed he also thought Zhou Chengchen's actions back then were absurd.
After tidying up the box, Zhou Qi helped Xiao Rou put it back in place, and his gaze returned to Xiao Rou's swollen ankle. He didn't take her to the hospital because the sprain wasn't severe; applying ice and resting for one night without strenuous activity would be fine.
