Alexander Kingsley was on a business trip in New York and hadn't returned yet.
Because of some hiccups, Lucas Knight decided to return home first to find Eva Nightingale, leaving the remaining matters for Alexander Kingsley to handle. It's been a few days, so he's probably almost done with everything over there.
That being said, Alexander Kingsley is indeed busy and probably hasn't rested well.
Lucas Knight looked at the woman beside him: "Be good, remember to miss me."
"Okay, I'm going now." Eva Nightingale said as she entered the elevator with Harry North, took it downstairs, got in the car, and headed from City A back to the Sovereign Capital.

Lucas Knight returned to the study, and the phone rang.
Originally, he thought it was a call from Eva Nightingale, but when he glanced at the screen, he didn't see the expected note "only love"; instead, it displayed the name Alexander Kingsley.
It wasn't Eva Nightingale calling but Alexander Kingsley.
