Scene One
Morning Whispers – The Bedroom
Two months had passed since Rimsha and Imran had begun their life together. The routine of marriage had settled gently—early mornings, shared breakfasts, long workdays at Amana Superstore, and quiet evenings at home. Life was peaceful, almost rhythmic.
That morning, sunlight slipped softly through the curtains of their bedroom. Imran was buttoning his shirt in front of the mirror when Rimsha, still wrapped in her light shawl, sat on the edge of the bed, pressing her fingers against her temples.
Imran noticed her reflection immediately.
"Rimsha… tum theek ho?" he asked, concern filling his voice.
She looked up slowly.
"Imran, aaj tum akele store chale jao," she said gently.
"Main theek feel nahi kar rahi… sar mein dard hai. Thora rest karna chahti hoon."
Imran walked toward her and placed his hand on her forehead.
"Doctor ko dikha dete hain. Office baad mein bhi ho sakta hai."
Rimsha shook her head.
"Nahi, bas headache hai. Aaj kal thakan zyada lag rahi hai, shayad is liye."
Imran still looked unconvinced.
"Agar zyada hua to call kar dena. Promise?"
She smiled faintly.
"Promise."
He kissed her forehead softly.
"Relax karo. Main manage kar loon ga."
Within a few minutes, Imran picked up his briefcase and stepped out, turning once at the door.
"Khud ka khayal rakhna."
"Tum bhi," Rimsha replied, watching him leave.

Scene Two
A Quiet House – Mid-Morning Unease
The house felt unusually silent after Imran left. Rimsha lay down on the sofa in the TV lounge, her eyes closed, trying to ease the dull pain in her head. For a while, it worked—the headache softened, though a strange heaviness lingered in her body.
Kulsoom aunty noticed her lying down and came closer.
"Beta, tumhara rang thora peela lag raha hai," she said, worry creeping into her voice.
"Nashta bhi theek se nahi kiya."
Rimsha tried to reassure her.
"Bas thora sa headache hai, Ammi. Aaj kal kaam zyada ho gaya tha."
Kulsoom aunty sat beside her, holding her hand.
"Shaadi ke baad aksar larkiyan apni health ignore karti hain. Aisa nahi karna chahiye."
Rimsha nodded but suddenly felt dizzy. She slowly tried to sit upright.
"Ammi… mujhe—"
Before she could finish her sentence, her vision blurred. The room spun, and within seconds, Rimsha collapsed onto the floor, unconscious.
"Rimsha!" Kulsoom aunty screamed.

Panic and Rush – The Way to Hospital
Kulsoom aunty knelt beside her, shaking her shoulders gently.
"Beta, aankhein kholo… Rimsha!"
No response.
Her hands trembled as she called out loudly,
"Naeem! Naeem!"
The driver rushed in, startled.
"Ji, Baji?"
"Gaari foran nikaalo. Rimsha behosh ho gayi hai," Kulsoom aunty said, her voice breaking.
Within minutes, Rimsha was carefully placed in the car. Kulsoom aunty sat beside her, holding her hand tightly, whispering prayers.
"Ya Allah… meri beti ko hifazat mein rakhna."
The car sped toward the hospital, every second feeling unbearably long.

Scene Four
Hospital Corridors – Waiting with Fear
Doctors and nurses rushed Rimsha into the emergency room as soon as they arrived. Kulsoom aunty stood outside, pacing anxiously, her hands clasped together.
She pulled out her phone with shaking fingers and dialed Imran's number.
"Imran…" her voice cracked as soon as he answered.
"Beta, hospital aa jao. Rimsha behosh ho gayi hai."
Imran froze on the other end.
"Kya? Ammi, kaunsa hospital?"
"City Hospital. Jaldi aa jao."
The call ended, and Kulsoom aunty leaned against the wall, whispering prayers again and again.

Scene Five
Imran's Arrival – Helplessness
Imran reached the hospital in record time, breathless, his heart pounding. He rushed toward his mother.
"Ammi, Rimsha kahan hai?"
"She's inside… doctor check kar rahe hain," Kulsoom aunty replied, tears in her eyes.
Imran ran a hand through his hair, panic evident.
"Subha hi keh raha tha doctor ke paas chalain…"
Minutes felt like hours. Finally, the door opened, and Dr. Hira stepped out, her expression calm.

Scene Six
The Revelation – A New Beginning
Kulsoom aunty stood up immediately.
"Doctor… meri bahu theek to hai na?"
Dr. Hira smiled softly.
"Ghabrane ki koi baat nahi. Rimsha bilkul theek hai."
Imran exhaled sharply.
"Phir behoshi…?"
Dr. Hira looked at them both and said words that changed everything.
"Rimsha pregnant hai."
For a moment, silence filled the corridor.
"P-pregnant?" Kulsoom aunty whispered, disbelief turning into joy.
"Yes," Dr. Hira nodded.
"Initial months mein headache, dizziness aur fainting common hota hai. Lekin ab woh stable hai."
Kulsoom aunty's eyes filled with tears of happiness.
"Alhamdulillah…"
Imran stood frozen, emotions flooding his chest—relief, joy, disbelief—all at once.

Scene Seven
A Private Moment – Husband and Wife
The doctor allowed Imran to see Rimsha alone. He entered the room quietly. Rimsha lay on the bed, eyes half-open, IV attached to her hand.
She turned her head slightly as he approached.
"Imran…"
He sat beside her, holding her hand gently, his eyes moist.
"Tumne mujhe dara diya tha."
She smiled weakly.
"Sorry… mujhe khud nahi pata tha."
Imran swallowed hard.
"Tum pregnant ho, Rimsha."
Her eyes widened.
"Kya… sach?"
He nodded, smiling through tears.
"Sach. Hum parents banne wale hain."
Rimsha closed her eyes for a moment, letting the words sink in. Tears rolled down her cheeks—this time, tears of joy.
"Alhamdulillah…" she whispered.
Imran leaned forward, resting his forehead against hers.
"Main hamesha tumhare saath hoon. Ab aur bhi zyada khayal rakhna hoga."
She smiled softly.
"Hum dono rakhenge."
Outside the room, Kulsoom aunty waited with gratitude in her heart, knowing that a new chapter of life had quietly begun—one filled with hope, love, and a tiny heartbeat yet to be heard.
