The news sent shockwaves through the entire world.
People were both shocked and unsurprised. After all, during both the Sabaody War and the Paramount War, everyone had noticed the ambiguous connection between the Empress and Lin Xuan. Still, for her to openly declare something that could be seen as defying the World Government—that took courage.
After all, such a statement was practically announcing her withdrawal from the Shichibukai system and severing ties with the World Government itself.
At that moment, aboard a merchant ship sailing toward Long Ring Long Land, a beautiful woman in a cowboy hat was reading the very same newspaper, listening as the merchants around her gossiped about the latest news.
A faint, knowing smile appeared on her lips.
"I'd like to see for myself," she murmured, "just how charming this Lin Xuan truly is—to have even the famed Pirate Empress fall for him."
If Lin Xuan were here, he would have recognized her instantly. She was none other than the "Devil's Child" of Ohara—Nico Robin.
Robin had once been an important member of Crocodile's Baroque Works, pretending to help him seize control of Alabasta while secretly seeking the Poneglyphs hidden there. Unfortunately, Crocodile had turned out to be utterly useless—fleeing at a critical moment and forcing Robin to escape as well, abandoning her search.
Afterward, she had no interest in finding Crocodile again. While pondering her next move, she happened to come across the news about the Ninja Guild's upcoming World Summit—and her curiosity was immediately piqued.

Recently, Roshi had even taken Krillin, Yamcha, and the others to Korin Tower for special training. They had only returned to Kame House the day before.
Now, seeing no news from Lin Xuan for a while, Roshi couldn't help but ask in the group chat.
But deep down, he was still puzzled—just how was Lin Xuan supposed to arrive in their world in the first place?
As that thought crossed his mind, a thunderous sound suddenly echoed across the small island, startling him.

In an instant, a silver vortex appeared—rapidly expanding until it spanned nearly ten meters across.
Inside Kame House, Krillin, Yamcha, Bulma, and the others were alarmed by the sudden commotion. Thinking they were under attack, they rushed out in a panic.
"Master Roshi! What's going on?!" Krillin shouted.
They soon noticed that Roshi's gaze was fixed on the sky. Following his eyes, they looked up—and were stunned.
"What the…? What's that?!"
"There's a hole in the sky! Is that… some kind of portal?"
"Don't tell me a monster's about to come out of there!"
Everyone's hearts raced as they gathered nervously beside Roshi, staring at the massive silver rift.
Then, two figures slowly stepped out from the glowing portal.
It was Lin Xuan—and beside him stood none other than Kaguya Ōtsutsuki.
As they emerged, Kaguya glanced around curiously, taking in the unfamiliar world and its different energy.
Lin Xuan's gaze fell upon the island below. Spotting the group, he smiled and waved.
"Yo, Master Roshi—it's been a while."
Hearing his voice, Roshi snapped out of his daze and immediately rolled his eyes.
To be honest, if he didn't need Lin Xuan's help to deal with Piccolo Jr., he wouldn't have wanted to see him again at all.
For a brief moment, he thought of his female disciples back in the pirate world—he hadn't even said a proper goodbye before leaving. Now that he had been resurrected, returning there seemed nearly impossible.
That thought made his chest feel heavy with frustration.
"Master Roshi, you know them?" Krillin asked curiously. "Who are they?"
Yamcha and Bulma also looked at Lin Xuan and Kaguya in amazement.
Their sudden, otherworldly entrance had left quite the impression.
Roshi gave Lin Xuan a long look, then grumbled, "That guy… he's nothing but trouble."
Everyone blinked in confusion, staring between the old master and the mysterious newcomer.
