"Are you sure about knowing where she went?" Declan asked after meeting up with me, but this was no time for questions. Or answers.
"Where are we going?" Declan asked after some time. He sure couldn't read minds. If he could, he would have heard me screaming at him to shut the fuck up.
"Where do you think she went?" He asked again.
"Declan," I called, mustering every fibre of self-control I had in me.
"You tell me." He replied.
"Unity pack." I replied. He would wear me out with his questions if I didn't answer him.
The silence that followed right after, although it did not comfort me, gave me room for sober reflection. Until Declan disrupted it, of course.
"Do you think she will ever forgive us?" Declan asked, and I couldn't hold it in any more.
"Stop asking silly questions!" I snapped, irritated. I felt bad right after. We were suffering from the pain of losing Avira, and cutting a little more slack would be very helpful.
