Chapter 30 - The Miracle of Love

"In the Sweetness of Your Sip"

The rain falling along the seashore had made the entire atmosphere even more enchanting. Each drop landed on the blue surface of the sea like someone had thrown a handful of white pearls into the water. At times lightning flashed across the sky, at times thunder echoed—almost as if nature itself was celebrating the union of two hearts.

The cool breeze had turned the air even colder. Ramish and Richer were completely drenched; water dripped from their hair, yet their faces were lit with the kind of smile that comes only when life gifts you its most beautiful moments.

People in the restaurant smiled when they saw the two walk in, soaked from head to toe—almost as if the love radiating from them had brightened the entire place.

A waiter approached politely.

"Sir, if you both would like to change your clothes, we have the facility available."

Ramish nodded immediately.

"Yes, we'd like to change."

The waiter guided them to the upstairs area where a full rack of clean, perfumed clothes was neatly arranged.

"Sir, you may choose anything you like. Everything is washed and scented. And if you want, we can wash and dry your clothes as well—it won't take long. Meanwhile, you can enjoy some coffee or tea downstairs."

Richer smiled.

"That's fine. We don't mind."

Ramish picked up a towel and said softly to Richer,

"Sit, I'll dry your hair for you."

But Richer laughed,

"I'll freshen up myself. Don't worry."

The waiter pointed toward the changing rooms.

Ramish selected a stylish outfit for Richer and said,

"Richer, this one will look perfect on you… wear this."

They went into their separate rooms, and a few minutes later, when they stepped out, they both looked stunning.

When Richer came out, Ramish couldn't look away.

"Richer… you look beautiful."

Richer smiled back.

"You're not looking bad yourself. Let's go downstairs."

They returned to the lounge and sat together at a table. Outside, the rain continued to fall, but now there was a sweet softness mixed into its cold rhythm.

Richer gazed out the window.

"The rain has made the weather feel magical… Ramish, I really enjoyed today. That moment at the beach—it came back to me. Just like the first time we went… maybe even better."

Ramish said gently,

"I loved it too."

Just then, Richer suddenly sneezed.

Ramish leaned forward in concern.

"Richer… drink something warm. You'll feel better. Coffee or tea?"

"Coffee," Richer replied. "I'll have coffee."

Ramish stood up.

"Alright, I'll place the order."

At the counter he said,

"Two cups of coffee… and please bring some cookies or small cupcakes as well. And include the clothing charges in the bill too—I'll pay everything together."

The staff smiled.

"Sir, don't worry. We'll serve our special cookies and cakes with your coffee. Just five minutes."

Ramish returned to the table.

Richer asked,

"How long will it take?"

"Five minutes," Ramish said.

Richer sneezed again. Ramish immediately slid the tissue box toward him.

"I'm sorry, Richer… you got wet because of me."

Richer gently held his hand and smiled.

"Oh no… nothing like that. In fact, I should thank you. Today you made me do things I never even imagined doing in my life. You gave me a happiness… maybe the one I always wished for. So thank you… thank you so much."

Ramish's voice softened.

"I told you… there's no place for 'thank you' in love. Happiness is something you share."

Just then the waiter arrived with the coffee, cookies, and cakes. Placed on the table

"Sir, your clothes will be ready shortly. I'll inform you."

Ramish Replied, Alright.

Ramish and Richer exchanged a warm smile.

The sound of rain, the aroma of coffee, their drenched affection… it was a moment, Which was probably going to be remembered for a lifetime..

Richer took the first sip of coffee and a soft smile spread across his face.

"Ramish, this coffee is delicious… you try it too."

Ramish lifted the cup, took a sip, and then immediately set it down, making a face.

Richer laughed.

"How does it taste?"

Ramish smiled weakly.

"It's… uh… nice, I guess."

Richer burst out laughing.

"If you don't even like coffee, why did you order it? You could've ordered something else."

Ramish lowered his gaze shyly.

"I just wanted to try the same thing you're having… so we could share the moment together."

With a playful smile, Richer said,

"Alright then, try again. Maybe you'll like it now."

Ramish took another sip—and made the same face.

"Richer… it's bitter!"

Richer took the cup from his hands, sipped, and said,

"It tastes fine to me… maybe it's just the first time for you? Try again—here, drink from my hand."

Richer held the cup out toward him.

Ramish looked at him, then leaned forward and drank from the exact spot where Richer's lips had touched.

At that moment, a smile lit up Ramish's face.

"Now how is it?" Richer asked shyly.

Ramish whispered,

"Now it's sweet… just like you."

Richer laughed so hard he doubled over, then handed the cup back.

"Whatever the taste is, drink it calmly. It'll taste better with cookies or cake."

Ramish kept making faces, and Richer kept watching him with laughter and warmth in his eyes.

Soon the waiter returned.

"Sir, your clothes are ready."

Richer checked the time and said seriously,

"Ramish, we should leave now. It's getting late, and the rain has stopped."

"Alright," Ramish replied softly.

They went upstairs, changed back their cloths, and came downstairs again.

Richer called the waiter,

"Please bring the bill."

The waiter said politely,

"Sir, the bill has already been paid by him."

Richer turned toward Ramish with a hint of annoyance in his eyes.

Ramish immediately said,

"Come on… the manager must be waiting for us."

Richer stayed quiet, and the two walked to the car outside the restaurant.

As they got in, Ramish said gently,

"A smile suits you much more than that serious look."

Richer tried to hide his smile, but it returned naturally—soft, warm, and beautiful.

The car drove toward the hotel… while the memories of rain, dance, coffee, and all the sweet moments circled around them like cool night breezes.

Beautiful poetry in the air:

The raindrops are writing the lines of destiny…

Each drop carries a message of love,

even in the shadow of fear."
