Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: New World New Me

It was black dark and then there was a very bright light but then i was falling and then i opened my eyes to see that i was in the sky freefalling. Instantly my fear of heights kicked in my heart started racing but then a thought came to my mind, 'am i really going to come to this world and leave in an instant?' NO! I wont let that happen not here, not now not ever so with every bone in my body I tried to channel my mana, I could feel it flowing through my veins so i called out in my head "Sonic Blast." With that a blast of wind was shot out and stopped me from being a splat on the ground. "Ha I did it ha ha ha" I called out in joy as I realized I actually did magic, but then I took a moment to look around me and there he was, the main protagonist of this story, Rudues Grayrat. Looking at me with a puzzled face probably wondering how I survived that fall from a height that would kill anyone, magic or not. While he was thinking about that, all that ran through Arthur's mind was what the time line was, and from the looks of Rudy, he seems to just have gotten the letter from the Ranoa Magic Academy.This is bad had I come at a later time I could have used my skills to get into Ranoa but it looks like ill have to get in another way. Just as Arthur was about to think of a way to get into the Academy Rudy spoke up "hey im Rudeus whats your name?" "Hey im Arthur and im kinda new to this pla-" before I could finish speaking he spoke up again "why did you just fall from the sky?" Puzzled, I quickly thought up something on the spot "um I was riding a dragon when I fell off its back." I had just finished my sentence when another voice interjected, it was Elinalise Dragonroad, another main character of the show. She said "That's impossible, dragons are very prideful creatures to think that a human even with mana could tame one it's just not heard of-." Before she could finish I said " I would like to keep my secrets as a secret" and with that I turned to Rudy and asked " so where are yall headed yall seem to have packed alot." Rudeus looked at Elinalise as if asking if he should tell the truth or not. She gave him the go ahead and he turned to me and said " we are headed to the Ranoa Magic Academy you wanna come." wow this all worked out too well "yeah ill come with yall."
