Chapter 490 - Chapter 491: Night and Day

"Dra... Dragon God? Isn't he already..."

The Grand Supreme Kai's status was far higher than that of an ordinary Kai, and his peak strength was incredibly formidable. If he hadn't exhausted so much power sealing Moro, he wouldn't have struggled against Majin Boo at all.

Back then, he could even ignore the dignity of a God of Destruction—unlike the East Kai, who acted as if he were seeing his grandfather whenever he met a God of Destruction.

Right now, however, he was completely stunned, because in his memory, the Dragon God had long been erased by the Omni-King.

At this moment, Vados and the others who had gone out shopping returned home.

Although Vados and Marcarita weren't wearing their angel uniforms, the Grand Supreme Kai still recognized Vados at a glance.

This was because Champa and Beerus of Universe Six and Universe Seven often interacted. As such, he'd also met the angel responsible for Champa—Vados.

He held great respect for the angels, so he immediately saluted Vados.

But Vados truly hadn't seen the Grand Supreme Kai for a long time; she actually had to think for a moment before recalling who this big round-faced man was.

She covered her small mouth in surprise and said,

"Eh, aren't you the former Grand Supreme Kai of Universe Seven? I heard you've been missing for a long time."

The Grand Supreme Kai froze. He noticed Vados used the words "former Universe Seven," and couldn't help but ask,

"May I ask what you mean by that? Does Universe Seven no longer exist?"

"Of course it still exists. It's just that now you should call it the Dragon God Universe. Together with the previous Universe Six and Universe Eleven, all are now under Dragon God-sama's domain. This is the result of an agreement between Omni-King-sama and Dragon God-sama."

"Nani!?"

Hearing such explosive news from an angel directly turned the Grand Supreme Kai into a statue.

Kaito waved his hand and said,

"Alright, you basically understand the situation now. I didn't revive you to stand here in a daze. From now on, you're going to resume your responsibilities properly."

A Kai's duty was creation. During his absence, the number of planets in Universe Seven had drastically decreased, and with Kaito having taken action several times before, even more planets had been destroyed.

And the East Kai was simply too unreliable. So now the Grand Supreme Kai needed to get back to work—Kaito had no desire to handle these things himself.

After briefly explaining the situation, the Grand Supreme Kai still looked confused. The amount of information was simply too much for him to digest quickly.

"That's pretty much it. If there's anything you still don't understand, go ask Whis. He'll explain everything. Oh, and you can use Instant Transmission, right?"

The Grand Supreme Kai nodded. He swallowed nervously and asked carefully,

"Then, Dragon God-sama, should I depart now?"

"You can. But if you want to stay for a meal or something, that's fine too."

"No, no, I wouldn't dare trouble Dragon God-sama!"

Before leaving, the Grand Supreme Kai bowed deeply to Kaito, thanking him for saving his life.

Kaito smiled slightly, patted his shoulder, and said,

"Work hard. I'm counting on you."

Anyway, it wasn't like he had to pay him a salary—offering encouragement and drawing a few pies was easy enough.

After the Grand Supreme Kai left, Jiren and the others also took their leave.

Kaito stretched lazily. The Dragon Ball world's matters were mostly settled—he should return to the One Piece and Naruto worlds, which were his foundations.

Later, he planned to bring all his people into the Dragon God Realm and build a paradise exclusively for them.

Traveling between worlds was no longer difficult for Kaito. After giving a brief explanation to Vados and the others, he opened a dimensional portal and went to the One Piece world.

Their power levels were simply too high for the other two worlds, so he didn't bring them along this time to avoid unnecessary trouble.

Returning to his palace in Marineford, the long-term shut-in Shalria was naturally the first to see Kaito.

Seeing him, Shalria froze for a moment before letting out a sharp cry. Barefoot on the ground, she slid straight into Kaito's arms.

Kaito smiled, reached out, and tapped her nose lightly, saying,

"You've gotten pretty familiar with your Devil Fruit ability."

Shalria pouted and muttered,

"Don't change the topic. You went out for so long again. Did you go find some little vixen?!"

"Oh? Becoming a little jealous wife now? And aren't you afraid Kalifa will deal with you if you call someone a vixen?"

"Kalifa would never mind something like that! She's the nicest person ever!"

"Alright, alright, Kalifa's the best, I'm the worst, okay?"

"Hehe, as long as you know!"

Smack!

Shalria covered her butt, looking at Kaito with teary eyes.

"I knew it—you're a bad person. You come home and immediately spank me!"

"This is nothing. There's plenty more where that came from."

Kaito's lips curled into a wicked smile. He spun while holding Shalria, and in the next moment the two were lying on a soft, large **.

Shalria's eyes flew wide open. In disbelief, she stammered,

"Kai... Kaito, what are you doing? It's daytime!"

"Oh? Then now it's nighttime."

As he spoke, Kaito snapped his fingers. Outside the window, the sky instantly darkened, and the sun dropped below the horizon right before Shalria's eyes.

Across the entire One Piece world, people lifted their heads in confusion, staring at the sudden appearance of the moon, wondering if they were hallucinating.

Shalria was completely dumbfounded. She rubbed her eyes vigorously, but no matter how she rubbed, the bright moon remained.

Kaito lifted her chin gently, making her face him.

"It's nighttime now. Do you have anything else to say?"

Shalria's big eyes rolled once—and she pressed her lips directly against his, launching a surprise attack.

Kaito froze for a moment, then quickly responded.

Hearing the noise upstairs, maid Fiona cautiously called out,

"Lady Shalria?"

The only response was Shalria's muffled moans. She tried to go upstairs, but she bumped into an invisible barrier and fell onto the floor.

Inside HQ's main building, Kalifa put down her pen. The room was simply too dark—she couldn't work anymore.

She turned on the light and muttered to herself,

"Was I really that focused? Why did it get dark so fast? I haven't even had lunch yet!"

When she looked at the clock on the wall, the hands were pointing at 11.

"It's already eleven at night? I should get home quickly—Shalria and the others must already be asleep, right?"
