"If you want to be destroyed along with this planet, then that's your choice."
The Silver Surfer clearly had no intention of continuing the conversation.
He turned his body and flew off into the distance once more.
But Alex merely waved his hand.
Duang!
An enormous telekinetic wall instantly formed in front of the Silver Surfer.
Boom!
The Silver Surfer slammed straight into it, his path completely blocked.
"Trying to leave?"
Alex grinned at him.
"I'm sorry, but the moment you set foot on this planet, things stopped being up to you."
"Ha!"
The Silver Surfer let out a sharp shout and violently swung both arms toward Alex.
A fierce surge of cosmic energy blasted toward him.
BOOM!
But at that very instant, a sonic boom exploded in the air.
Alex vanished.
In the blink of an eye, he reappeared right in front of the Silver Surfer—
having already dodged the energy attack.
Then—
BAM!
Alex's fist slammed heavily into the Silver Surfer's body.
A dull, thunderous impact echoed through the sky as the Silver Surfer's body shook violently and was sent flipping backward.
Like a meteor falling from the heavens, he crashed toward the ground.
As for the surfboard?
Alex casually reached out and grabbed it midair.
It did not follow the Silver Surfer down.
"Surfboard secured."
Alex's eyes lit up with clear delight as he flipped his hand and stored the board away.
This—
This was his real objective.
According to established lore, the Silver Surfer's board was capable of absorbing cosmic energy.
The reason the Silver Surfer was so powerful was precisely because of this board.
Alex himself could also absorb cosmic energy—
But his absorption speed had already reached its limit.
This surfboard
was the key to breaking that limit.
---
Boom!
In an excellent mood, Alex shot downward toward the ground.
A massive crater had already formed there, and the Silver Surfer was struggling to climb out of it.
He looked up at Alex, who had landed in front of him, and his attitude visibly changed.
"I'm starting to believe what you said now."
As a being remade by Galactus, the Silver Surfer stood at the very top of the cosmic hierarchy.
Especially when riding his board, he could draw upon cosmic energy endlessly—
essentially operating with an absurd cheat enabled.
Yet someone had forcibly taken that board from him.
What did that mean?
It meant that this young man's strength far exceeded the maximum cosmic energy the Silver Surfer could wield.
That realization was… terrifying.
"I know you serve Galactus out of necessity,"
Alex said calmly.
"Leave him to me. I'll destroy him."
He then lifted the surfboard slightly.
"But this—
I'm keeping it."
"I'm not your opponent,"
the Silver Surfer said honestly.
"So I have no choice."
"You can stay in Krakoa for now,"
Alex continued.
"When this is over, I'll send you back to your own world."
"Let's go."
Seeing people already beginning to gather nearby, Alex didn't waste any more time.
He waved his hand again.
Telekinetic force wrapped around the Silver Surfer.
Boom!
In the next instant, both of them vanished.
---
The Silver Surfer felt his vision blur as the scenery around him changed at lightning speed.
In less than a blink, he found himself standing in a completely unfamiliar—yet breathtakingly beautiful—place.
---
Krakoa
"Alex!"
Raven, the head steward, arrived immediately, accompanied by Cyclops.
They glanced at the silver-skinned figure with his unusual appearance and couldn't help but think—
Is this guy related to Colossus?
Could he be Colossus's long-lost brother or something?
"Alex, who is he?"
Raven asked, staring at the Silver Surfer.
"It's a long story. Take him away first,"
Alex said casually.
Raven nodded and immediately arranged for personnel to escort the Silver Surfer away.
Without his board, the Silver Surfer's strength was extremely limited—
there was no chance he could cause trouble under X-Men supervision.
Alex wasn't worried at all.
---
After that, Alex returned to the council hall and briefly explained the Silver Surfer and Galactus situation to everyone.
"A being from another planet?"
"He's acting under Galactus's orders?"
"In a few days, Galactus will come to devour Earth?"
Once they understood the situation, every single X-Man was stunned.
Eating planets?
That was… absurdly extreme.
"Alex, is something like that really something we can handle?"
Even Erik showed concern.
Everyone knew Alex was incredibly powerful—
cosmic overlords, extradimensional beings, none of them were a problem.
But devouring planets?
That was on an entirely different level.
"There's no need to worry,"
Alex said with an easy smile.
"I'm confident I can deal with Galactus."
"Reed is here,"
Charles suddenly said, having sensed something.
"I think he's here because of the Silver Surfer."
Charles was right.
Reed Richards soon explained his purpose—
it was indeed about the Silver Surfer.
During this time, military satellites had captured images of a silver figure moving through space.
They didn't know what it was, so they contacted Reed for help.
"So, Alex,"
Reed asked after explaining everything,
"can you tell me what that thing actually is?"
Alex then told Reed about the Silver Surfer and Galactus.
Reed was completely shaken.
"So… what should we do?"
he asked with obvious worry.
A planet-eating existence was more than enough to suffocate even him.
"Reed,"
Alex smiled calmly,
"leave this to Krakoa."
Seeing Alex's confidence, Reed immediately felt much more at ease.
He wisely didn't press further.
After saying goodbye, he left Krakoa.
---
As for Alex—
After parting with the X-Men, he immediately took out the surfboard and stepped onto it.
But just as expected—
The board didn't respond at all.
It clearly wasn't something just anyone could use the moment they stood on it.
For now, the surfboard remained completely inert.
