Bloodline is one of the most convoluted topics amongst the academia on Pangea. Origins of many well-known bloodlines are vague and hidden behind layers of mystique—most likely intentionally so.
However, on the matter of bloodlines, the focus that attracts the most attention is bloodline purity.
From the highest Imperial Houses to the lowest baronets, even common households, many people have been fascinated and deeply interest on the matter of bloodline purity.
Bloodline purity is believed to naturally fall with generations as members of a bloodline marry out. Initially, people believed doing the opposite, marrying within the family, would secure bloodline purity—a seemingly intuitive view—but reality proved otherwise.
There were many reference cases within the academia of high-purity parents giving birth to children with low purity bloodline.
