I can't believe that this room is where I spent 21 years of my life. Always coming to this small room. Traveling from universe to universe with the citadel. He walks around his room, picking up items such as clothes, a notepad, and a book called "How to Be a Normal Person" by A-45 Andrewios. He closed up his backpack with a smile on his face, standing proud. He walks to the mirror to look at himself. Man, I really did it. I am going to leave the citadel for good and find my caretaker. I also looked quite handsome while doing it. I mean, look at myself, taller than your average C clone series. With my caramel short messy hair and beautiful blue eyes. I am the man, and nobody can take that away. I should get back to cleaning up before I leave the Universe 490 station. Jezz, there's so much stuff I wish I could take with me, like my bed and my favorite poster of the founder of the citadel, Andrew Copper. Man, He was so fearless, like beating up the destroyer and inviting others to the citadel to make something great. I wish he were still alive, then maybe he could actually make us lower clones worth something and not be so worthless. While cleaning, he finds one of his old name tags. Wow, I do look super young in this picture. He cleans off some of the dust around the name area, revealing that his name is C-14.God, I really hate that name. I can't wait to choose a new original name. That no clone ever thought of! He shouts in excitement. C-14 starts to reach his hand behind this dusty corner of his dresser, where he found one of his old name tags. He moves the dresser just a little bit to reveal a whole bunch of cobwebs and dust. He quickly moves back his head, scared that something might get him, but after realizing it was just dust, he calms down and lets out a laugh. He then grabs the broom that is by his bed, which he left when cleaning up early before going deep in thought. He is about to be swept up in the corner when he sees a broken picture frame. I didn't know that there was a picture back here. I wonder what it could be? C-14 picks up the broken picture frame and sees that it was a picture of him and his best friend, B-418. I remember this day … This was the day before he died in the accident. God, we look so stupid, having those big smiles on our faces. Thinking that after this project, we were going to go on vacation at the Andrew Louis resort. We posed to have a good time, hit on some lady clones, and drank till we couldn't stand anymore. His voice gets shaky, and he sits down on his bed, holding the picture frame. I wish things would have been different. You should be here, not me. They have the technology to bring you back, but since you're not a high-value clone, your life doesn't matter. C-14 starts to yell at the picture in anger. I'm eager to leave this place. I couldn't stand being here even … His voice cracks; he stops talking, then begins to speak slowly and softly. Although it's been three years, I miss you every single day. I miss you, man … His rage turns into sorrow as he begins to cry. Tears fell from C-14's face onto the picture of him and his best friend, B-418. C-14 wipes the tears from his face. He takes the picture out of the broken frame and puts it in his book. He finishes cleaning up his room and packing his bag. Okay, now that everything is cleaned up. My bag is packed. I should be good to head off to the train station. Let me just double-check my bag real quick, just to make sure I didn't forget anything important. He opens up the bag and starts double-checking his work. Okay, I have my three pairs of clothes, my book, my toothbrush, one towel, my wallet, two train tickets inside my notebook that contains my plans, my toothpaste, another pair of shoes, and last but not least, my stun baton 4000. Okay, I've got everything, time to head out. C-14 walks out the door and then turns around with a strange gut feeling. He stares at his room, which stands fully clean and empty. A rush of good memories came flooding into his mind. Man, I am really going to miss this place. Should I even leave? He takes a deep breath. I can't back out now; all that hard work would go to waste, and B-418 would kick my ass if I decided to stay behind. C-14 shuts the door and walks out of the apartment complex. He passes through the all-white hallways, which have a metallic look to them. Looking down at the plain brown carpet, thinking about how many times he walks these halls just to go to his room. He gets to the front desk and drops off his kicks in the drop box. He leaves the building, gazing out at the blackness of empty space in the skydome. He starts to walk to the train station at a good pace. Maybe I should tell the rest of my friends that I'm leaving? I mean, it's not too late to get back and take my keys. Cancel this exit from citadel life. I could try to run for a government position, improving the lives of lower-clone individuals if I work hard enough. I could also get F-98 and P-398 to work with me. We would be unstoppable, we could make a difference in the place. But then again, who am I? I should even be thinking about this. Regarding staying, I just went back to the apartment from which I would be leaving. Clear your head, C-14, and focus on going to the train station. C-14 starts moving at a faster pace. He is doing a light jog to the train station with his backpack bouncing off the bottom of his back. I am here finally. I thought this place would be bigger, but considering that it's going to Universe 00, which is the prime universe. I can understand where the destroyer was and lived. This is also a place where clones like me decide to leave the citadel for good. C-14 laughed to himself, thinking that the destroyer actually died in battle against the elite clones. So much for a huge threat to our society. Alright, now I have to find the station where Universe 00 is located. His eyes start to dart quickly, looking at every single train station sign. He sees that the prime universe is all the way at the end with a small line. He makes his way over there quickly. As he gets closer, he looks at the train, seeing that it's older and a smaller model. He gets in line behind this huge clone. Holy A, this guy is freaking huge. I wonder what his reason was for leaving. He pokes his head, passes the huge clone, and sees that the line is going rather quickly. Patiently waiting his turn, he starts to think about his friends again. Man, I should have said goodbye to my friends. I should have stayed with them. I am sorry F-98 , P-398 , C-2 , C-13 , C-928 , and Z-342. C-14, feeling sorry for himself, keeps moving forward in line until he is up next. I guess this is it. Where I leave it all behind. I just wish I had said goodbye. I am sor-. C-14 feels a tap on his shoulder, and he turns around to see all his friends standing there. He begins to feel all fuzzy, and his eyes start to water up, but before he can even get out a word, F-98 says with a huge smile on his face, " You thought that you could leave with us knowing. You are one of the least stealthy guys I know, C-14". C-2 cuts in and says with a huge smile too, " C-14, you sure are an asshole, but you're our asshole dude. With you gone, who am I going to make fun of now?". C-2 lets out a huge laugh. C-928, while laughing, says, "You should see the look on your face right. It's okay to cry, dude. We all understand why you're leaving." They all say, "Yeah, dude," in unison. Z-342 is the next to talk with after they all say yes saying " Who I am going to gamble with now that you're leaving. You know they hate losing money, but you. I am going to miss you. You blue eyed bastard." P-398 chimes in after he is done laughing super laugh at Z-342 goodbye spill saying " Look C-14 we understand why you are leaving the citadel for good. After the accident involving B-418 and his subsequent replacement, the next one on our team really opened our eyes. It changed us as clones, knowing that we are replaceable just like that. It changed you. We all knew you wouldn't last long because it was your best friend. I would see you sneakily look at the LTC program while on the job site. Save up more and not gamble. We noticed, but since we are your awesome friends, we decided to help you with your journey. You are just too dumb to notice. Now come here and hug us." C-14 rushes over with tears in his eyes and his friends rush towards him. Man, I love these guys. I couldn't have any better friends. " I love you guys" C-14 said aloud with him being in the middle of the hug. The whole brunch says " We love you too." The hug ends and C-14 backs off so do his friends. He steps on the train saying goodbye to all his friends " Goodbye guys. I wish you the best in this godforsaken life. You're awesome and a part of me. I will never forget you !" The group of clones yell back at C-14 as if he were far away, " Make sure you give the prime universe hell! And if you see the destroyer, make sure to give him hell and send him packing!" As they all laugh.
