"The Push, The Fall, The Flashback"
Cafeteria
The moment Lussy hit the ground, the atmosphere cracked like glass.
Food spilled everywhere.
Her knees and elbows scraped, tiny bruises forming instantly.
Emily rushed to her first.
Emily:
"Lussy! Are you okay?" đ°
Lussy bit her lip.
Lussy:
"Ah⊠it hurts." đ
Thomas and Justin stepped in front of the girlsâ
even though tremblingâ
even though scaredâ
they stood there.
Three boys approached, smirking.
Bully 3:
"What happened, little brat?"
He poked Justin's forehead.
"Gonna fight us?"
Bully 2:
"This loser? He can't fight anyone." đ
Bully 1:
"Looks like you grew some courage today.
Let us teach you what real courage is, loser." đ
Before Justin could reactâ
PUSH!
A hard shove landed on his chest.
Justin fell backward, hitting the floor with a painful thud.
Thomas:
"JUSTIN!!"
Justin:
"A-AhhâŠ"
He clenched his chest, trying not to cry.
People around them laughed.
Students:
"Hahaha he fell in one second!"
"So weak!"
"A ten-year-old baby!"
Justin lowered his head, humiliated.
Because mentally he was twenty-sixâŠ
But his body?
Still ten.
Still weak.
Still small.
He couldn't fight back.
Not with this body.
Not against older bullies.
And that humiliation burned deeper than the pain.
Justin's hands shook.
His ears reddened.
He felt tiny.
And Lussy watched everything.
Her eyes widenedâ
and then narrowed.
Because suddenly, a memory hit her like lightning.
---
â FLASHBACK â Lussy's Past School
She was younger.
Smaller.
Alone.
A boy smirked at her in the school corridor.
Boy (laughing):
"You're fatherless!
No one even wants you!"
Tears formed instantly.
Lussy stepped forward,
wanting to ask whyâ
but the boy pushed her to the floor.
She fell.
Her knees burned.
Her palms stung.
She didn't fight.
She didn't cry loudly.
She just walked straight homeâŠ
Straight to Amber.
---
â FLASHBACK â At Home
Amber was sitting on the couch, typing on her laptop with her usual cold, killer expression.
Without looking upâ
Amber:
"What happened."
Her voice flat, sharp, dangerous.
Lussy sniffed.
Lussy:
"âŠA boy in school called me fatherless."
Her eyes shivered.
"And when I went to ask him why⊠he pushed me, aunty."
Amber's fingers froze on the keyboard.
She slowly lifted her head.
Her eyes?
Fire.
Dark.
Deadly.
Amber (coldly):
"âŠHe pushed you?" đ
Lussy nodded.
And Amberâ
Closed her laptop.
Got up.
Cracked her knuckles.
Amber:
"Get in the car." đ
"Show me which boy."
