Inside his office, Glarvic stood before a large window overlooking the outside.
Snow fell heavily, limiting his view to barely five meters. It was an everyday sight, yet today it filled him with unease, clouding his thoughts.
"It's been over two hours, but the Tower Master, Miss Jisha, and Olivia still haven't returned to the palace. Could something have happened?" Glarvic muttered, biting his lower lip.
The Tower Master was powerful. An accident should have been impossible. Of that, he was certain.
Even so, the unsettling feeling refused to fade, tightening its grip on him.
Suddenly, a knock sounded at the door, followed by the panicked voice of a servant from outside.
"Your Majesty, forgive the disturbance! Miss Jisha and Princess Olivia have returned!"

Glarvic and Leina rushed toward the parlor. Jisha and Olivia were seated there, both looking pale.
"Olivia, Miss Jisha!" Glarvic called out, his voice filled with panic.
