"By the way, I need to take care of something," Nolan said as he pulled the hood of his cloak over his head.
"Take care of something?" Sharon, Cassiopeia, and Draco looked at him in surprise.
"Yeah, there's something I want to do. Don't worry—I'll be back later tonight. You guys can go to sleep first." Nolan gave them a reassuring smile.
Cassiopeia and Draco said nothing. After all, Nolan was a prince, and it wasn't their place to question his actions.
Still, Sharon was deeply worried and clutched the sleeve of his cloak anxiously.
"Are you really going alone? What if something happens to you? And it's still snowing heavily outside."
She glanced ahead, where snow continued to fall, covering the ground in a vast white blanket.
"It's fine. Trust me, okay?" Nolan said, gently patting her shoulder.
Sharon wanted to stop him, but she swallowed her words and reluctantly released his sleeve.
