Tabitha was about to wake Louis up but she just couldn't, even if she did wake him up he would be too tired to even go for the meeting. She saw him resting on a file, she picked it up and read it. She immediately knew that it was related to the meeting.
" Summer, I need you to find everything relating to this people and their company. I need more information on this deal as well" she said sitting down to study it
" Sure" summer said as she quickly contacted some of her informants in the company which were higher ups. She also contacted one of her tech buddy to search up on every single thing about them she gave Tabitha all the information and she created her presentation with the help of Louis presentation as well. It wasn't surprising from one of the best student in business administration. She was really good at her course of study, so it didn't take her much time to turn the tables around and gain he upper hand
" We are partners now, why don't you come celebrate with us over a drink?"
" I would love to but Mr Yu would be the one to do that, I just delivered as I promised"
Just then Tabitha saw Vivian approaching through the window.
" Excuse me" she said leaving immediately to catch up with her
" What is it?" Tabitha asked blocking Vivian from going into Louis office
" Let me pass"
" Why should I?"
" I want to see Louis"
" I'm sorry you can't"
" Why?, why can't I?. What's wrong with him?, did you perhaps kill him and just you're trying to hide your crimes"
" Leave, you can see him when he's free"
" What do you mean by that?"
" He's busy"
" No matter how busy he is, he would surely make time for me"
" You think?, looks like things has changed then"
" Leave my way, I must see Louis"
" Don't make me repeat myself after this. Leave and you'll see him later"
" No"
" Security" she called and they ran to her
" Throw her out" she said and they stared at her not knowing what to do.
If Louis found out they threw Vivian out they could lose their job and if they don't try could lose their lives. They tried to politely escort her out but she started making a ruckus scattering everywhere.
The noise got everyone's attention and everyone came out even Louis woke up. He was about to check where the noise was coming from, he checked the time and realized he over slept. He cursed inwardly as he approached for outside
" What's going on here?" one of the investors asked
" It's nothing, she lost her way and we are trying to take her back" Tabitha said
" Vivian" Louis said coming out and she ran to hug him
" I was so worried about you, I thought she killed you. How are you?" She asked but he just paused her away slightly trying to figure out what was going on
" Mr Yu, we commend you for doing such a tremendous work and training such a talented staff" the head of the Investor said shaking Louis
" What's going on?' Louis asked Andre and he explained everything
" So we look forward to working with you, and we would be having a drink sometime. You should come join us, and you should bring this lovely lady along too" the head of the Investor said
" Sure" Louis said and they left.
" Show is over, you can all go back to your office except you don't have work to do" Tabitha said with a smile and the workers dismissed leaving Vivian, Summer, Andre, Louis and Mimi there.
" Louis.."
" You should go home and rest, I would come see you later" Louis said cutting Vivian shut
" But I just got here" she said
"You almost made me loose this deal, go before I regret what I'm about to say to you" he said and Vivian disappointedly left
" And you" he said facing Tabitha
" What gives you the right to enter my office, take my things and attend the meeting on my behalf, who even gave you the right to decide for me" Louis said
" Wow, you're really are an ungrateful person." Tabitha said
" Oh, so you want me to be grateful for all these" he said
" No, I want a reward"
" I knew it, I knew she couldn't do this for free. She's showing her true nature already" he thought
" Oh, what's that?" He asked
" First of all, I want you to start paying Summer salary, twice as much as Vivian earns"
" She's kidding, she isn't asking for a reward for herself?" He thought
" What's the second one?"
" I want you to give Mimi here a raise, and triple her salary. She's your secretary and she's wearing cheap makeup .. I mean look at her, the lipsticks is definitely outdated"
" You can't insult my workers"
" I'm not, just stating the facts"
" Is that all?"
" Yes"
" I would do it, you may leave now"
" No, do it right now in my presence. Send them the money now"
" Andre, please sort it out" he said and Andre did it
" Thank you Mr Yu and Mrs Yu" Mimi said as she received the alert in her account
A while ago when Tabitha was in Louis office, the landline rang she picked it up and since the calls were both connected... Louis could hear all the discussion going on ..on every landline. Tabitha just picked it up to receive the call but the she heard Mimi on the phone
" What is it mum?, don't call me on the landline again that's why I have a phone"
" Listen, your dad is in the operating room and we need up to millions to pay for his treatment. Your brother was sent out of college, and he is his final race today. He can't enter cause of the fees, I've tried everything I could.. I even went to beg your aunt and uncle but they still kept on insisting on that request"
" I don't have money ma, I just sent you my last two days ago."
" You should listen to your aunt and uncle then, you keep saying you don't have money but you said you're a business man lover and yet you don't have any money. Just get married to one of your cousin and inherit their money but you still keep saying Mr Yu will love you"
" Mum, I have work to do"
" You just keep suffering our family for your own interest, I have agreed to their proposal and you would get married as well. We just sent you to school for nothing, you're working in a big company and you're not even useful to us"

" Mrs Yu" summer said entering and Tabitha dropped the phone unknown to her that Mimi heard so she knew she was listening.
Tabitha entered Louis office with summer and he paused what he was doing with Andre
" What is it?" He asked
" I'm hungry" she said
" So?"
" I haven't said my third request yet'
" What's that?"
" You and me are going to have dinner together in a fancy restaurant"
" If you're doing this for views, I'm really busy"
" You said you'll give me my rewards, did you think I did this for free"
" Fine, you pick the restaurant"
" Sure, Andre and summer.. you're also invited" she said going to the lobby
" How?" Louis asked
" How what?" Andre asked
" I've been working on this project for over months and I still haven't found a suitable presentation but she just used 30 mins to prepare and actually manage to create a bigger deal taking full control of the situation"
" That's right, she doesn't know much about business." Andre said
" I told you something is really fishy, tell Orlando that we are still going according to the plan" he said
" Sure. That would be after the dinner then" Andre said and he sighed
" Yeah" he said
They went for dinner in a fancy restaurant as he promised, it was vip reserved so they were the only ones in the room , summer and Andre far from them.
" God, I'm famished" she said devouring the food
" You still haven't told me your motive" he said
" Look, how about we make a deal?" She said still eating
" What's that?"
" You eat quietly and don't disturb my food" she said continuing to eat, and he scoffed
" Who isn't eating quietly between me and you?" He thought as she eat like a monster that have been starved for days
" Didn't you eat this morning?" He asked
" No"
"Why?"
"Because I was making lunch for you instead, you dummy"she thought
" You also didn't eat this morning, you should eat up. No wonder you're slender and skinny" she said putting more meat on his plate
" Skinny?, slender?, look at yourself before you start throwing shades at others"
" I'm not throwing shades at you, and I'm not skinny"
" Starving yourself just so you can have the perfect body of a model" he said and he chuckled
" You can't be serious, who does that?"she said
" You" he replied looking at her confused
" The number one thing I can never do is to starve myself, food is my number one priority" she said still eating
" What's wrong with you?, did you hit your head or something?" He asked as he stretched out his hand to touch her forehead but she held his hand and dropped it on the table immediately which was even more weird.
Even though he knows she hates him now, she never refused his touch. She always found a way for him to express his love to her. She longed for his love at first but when he kept treating her harshly it turned into pure hatred but still she couldn't refuse his touch even if she wanted to. It was like her weakness, but the person sitting in front of him was like an entirely different person. She was like a brick wall he couldn't read, but she was so simple but to him she was difficult.
He watched her eat almost all the food in the plate when she noticed he was staring at her with a puzzled look, she smiled awkwardly as she dropped the last chicken that was about to enter her mouth on his plate. But that wasn't it, he took a tissue and reached out to her and wiped her mouth gently, making another attempt to test her and she immediately collected it.
" I can do that myself, I'm not a child" she said smiling awkwardly.
" Are you filled up?" He asked
" Yeah, I'm good" she said looking around for more food
" I ordered your favourite, sea food" he said
" Sea food?"
" Yes"
" I'm kind of full already maybe some other time" she said and she confirmed his suspicions
" Something is definitely wrong, she couldn't resist sea food even if she's filled up and chicken?, she doesn't eat much of that and chilli, she's allergic to that but she seems okay to me. I even told them to add extra chilli but it's not affecting her" he thought
" Why are you staring at me?" She asked
" Nothing, are you feeling alright?" He asked
" Yes, I'm good" she said
" Good" he said as he scrolled through his phone
" I have a favour to ask" she said
" What's that?"
" I need to change my bank account"
" Why?"
" Um... I forgot my password" she said laughing
" Huh?"
" Funny right, such a crazy story" she said
" I'm not surprised, this is not the first time. You're so irresponsible" he said
" You know me" she said
" She never forgets her password, and she always takes her things seriously" he thought
" You can have it change tommorow" he said
" That's great" she said
" Today you asked for a raise for Mimi, why?" He asked
" What do you mean why?"
" You don't like her so why did you do that"
" What makes you think I don't like her"
" You slapped her on various occasions"
" Well, my bad. My hand never likes to stay in one place" she said smiling awkwardly
" You still haven't answered my question"
" Mimi isn't a bad person you know, she is just going through some financial family troubles that's all. I feel ladies like Mimi deserve to live freely not tied up to marital issues and family problems. I mean yes she has her responsibility to her family but she has the right to decide what she wants for her life. She isn't meant to quit her career because of an arranged marriage you know"
" It feels like she's talking about herself" he thought
" How did you know about Mimi?" He asked
" I overheard her conversation with her mum, and I was even thinking I should link her up with your mum you know cause you're mum own modelling company and all. What do you think?"
" I tried that already, it didn't work. That's why I gave her a job, and I gave her a title of one my girlfriends"
" Yeah, I heard that one too. What if she works her way in and not go in by connection. I mean if she's really aspiring to be a model, I can put in some few words for her and with her own hard work she would win your mum's heart"
" How?"
" She would model for tamora's cloth, we can make a Livestream introducing tamora's brand"
" You can just say it in your interview tommorow, it's probably one of the question they would ask since you advertise Tamora's brand" he said
" Interview?"
" Don't tell me you forgot that too, you do it every year"
" I didn't forget it, I'm just refreshing my brain" she said and she started felling uneasy and started coughing
" Are you okay?" He asked
" I don't feel too good" was all she remembered saying before collapsing
