Chapter 315 - "I love Arsenal."

Outside the Emirates Stadium, Robbie from AFTV was on the move, mic in hand, weaving through the exiting crowd.

The fans spilling out were buzzing with energy, their faces bright with relief and excitement. Kai's emphatic "Answer: Staying!" had reignited their confidence, and they weren't shy about voicing their thoughts.

Robbie: "Alright, folks, what did you make of that today?"

Fan 1: "It's all a conspiracy, mate. Some people don't want to see us rise, but they can't stop the Gunners!"

Fan 2: "Kai won't leave us. I never believed those stories for a second!"

Fan 3: True, dem did a try fi panic we, create stress an' worry. Mi won't lie, it get under mi skin likkle bit—but di club step up quick, an' Kai seh him a stay. Dat deh di bess ting!"

Fan 4: "One hundred million? Not enough to buy Kai. He's different. He's not a money man—he's got bigger dreams!"

Fan 5: "He's Arsenal's number four, our cap'n, always will be!"

Robbie panned the camera to Meadows, a long-time Arsenal supporter, who shook his head with a mix of relief and disbelief.

Meadows: "When I first heard about this 'disappearance,' I thought everything was collapsing. One hundred million pounds! If Kai wanted out, Chelsea would have snapped him up without hesitation."

He paused, then broke into a wide grin.

Meadows: "But this time, the club didn't fail us. They stood firm. They said no to temptation. And the result? Kai stayed. Arsenal's captain, loyal as ever. That's fantastic!"

As the fans dispersed, the chatter didn't quiet down—it only intensified. Across Britain, and even Europe, Le Kai's name was on everyone's lips. Chelsea's £100 million "release clause" attempt had made headlines, but the essential story was clear:

Le Kai will not leave. Arsenal rejected the offer.

For Arsenal supporters, this was exactly what they wanted to see. Their captain, a 21-year-old with immense potential, had resisted one of the most powerful temptations in modern football. Confidence in both Kai and the club surged.

Media outlets quickly picked up the story. Headlines flashed:

BBC Sports: "The £100 Million Incident Over: Kai Chooses to Stay at Arsenal!"

Daily Mail: "Chelsea and Abramovich Left Empty-Handed"

Daily Mirror: "Arsenal's Captain Secures His Legacy"

London Sports News reflected on the broader context:

"Arsenal has had its share of upheaval in recent years—captains leaving, accusations of betrayal—but Kai has bucked the trend. Few could resist such a temptation, yet he said 'no.' His love for Arsenal and his commitment to the captaincy are clear."

Comparisons with former stars were inevitable. Fabregas, Van Persie—they had left their clubs during tough times. Kai had stayed, and that distinction resonated with fans, cementing his image as a leader who puts loyalty above personal gain.

Even if his future performances wavered, supporters were prepared to back him. Trust had been mutual: Kai had chosen Arsenal, and Arsenal had chosen to stand behind him. He was, unequivocally, their captain.

Meanwhile, inside Kai's villa, filming for the second episode of "Road to Stardom" was underway. Ma Fanshu, dressed in a pale yellow dress, approached him with curiosity.

Ma Fanshu, dressed in a pale yellow dress, looked at Kai curiously. "So… how exactly did you manage to resist Chelsea's temptation?"

Kai gave a small smile. "Temptation?"

"Of course," Ma Fanshu said, tossing her long hair over her shoulder. She raised an eyebrow with a playful smile. "The money, the benefits… very few people can resist that, you know."

Kai nodded, smiling lightly. "I won't lie, I felt it for a moment. But then I thought… what would I really do with all that money?"

He spoke sincerely. "My current salary is already very high. Add my other business ventures, and I could support several generations comfortably. I don't need a massive manor, servants, or a full-time driver. That's just too extravagant."

He paused, looking thoughtful. "A home should feel like a home. Doesn't need to be huge, just cozy. Wife, kids, a warm bed, tidying up when it's messy—that's real enjoyment."

"So when you don't crave the extravagance, the temptation loses its power."

"And, of course, the most important reason, I love Arsenal. I've been here since 2011. My coach, my mentors, my teammates—I've built something here. I love Mrs. Winter's food. I'm adapted to this life. Why move to some unfamiliar place?"

Ma Fanshu nodded, a hint of admiration in her eyes. "Alright then. Let's get started."

Kai glanced at his watch. "Time for a run."

Ma Fanshu grimaced. The London sun was high, and she had to follow him to take photos. As a girl, she wanted to avoid getting tanned.

"Give me twenty minutes?" she asked hopefully.

Kai raised an eyebrow but stayed silent.

"I'll just slap on some sunscreen," she muttered, rolling her eyes.

Kai joked. "Need a hand?"

"Go to hell," she shot back, laughing despite herself.

. . .

Kai set off jogging along a path behind the hill, with Ma Fanshu following on an electric scooter. She was fully covered—sun hat, protective suit—the works. Balancing the camera on the handlebars while steering took practice, but she was getting the hang of it.

Pointing the camera at him, she asked, "You run every day—does it actually improve your fitness?"

Kai shook his head. "No."

"Then why keep doing it?" she pressed.

"Habit," he replied casually, "and I get to clear my mind and think."

He deliberately slowed to match her pace, letting her adjust the camera. "Life's about movement," he said. "When I first moved to midfield at Arsenal, although my defence and passing were my assets, my work rate was equally good."

"Football is about space and stamina. Keep moving, and you create opportunities. That's exactly what happened—I earned my spot."

He laughed softly. "Even now, I don't need to, but I keep at it."

Ma Fanshu nodded, impressed. "No success comes easily. Your story will inspire domestic players aiming abroad and guide them on how to adapt."

"Don't follow my example blindly," Kai waved a hand towards the camera. "This works for me, but not everyone. If anyone gets injured, I'm not responsible."

Ma Fanshu smiled. "Hopefully, players abroad see this, raise their level, and take care of their health."

She turned off the camera, switching from a professional tone to casual.

Kai tilted his head. "Filming done?"

"Done," she said.
