Silvan went right to Alessio's side, joining him on the sofa. "Do you dislike public showings of affection?" He asked seriously.
Alessio slowly uncrossed his arms and sighed, "I don't know." He had gotten so used to stepping around carefully so as not to offend Silvan's sensitivities that even when the other completely changed and constantly reassured him, he still found himself stepping carefully around others for Silvan's sake.
"I suppose I'm just worried, I'm still worried that people would disapprove, what with you being a High Priest and then things would fall apart." He went on, opening up completely.
"I'm not a High Priest anymore," Silvan gently corrected, closing the distance between them to take Alessio's hand. "Not just that, I no longer believe in the Faith." He said the words out loud for the first time.
Alessio was astounded, "You're not? Why?"
