Ten Years Later
Mei stood outside the Yang Clan mansion, she is now grown into stunning young lady whose beauty is known in every corner of Flying Bird City.
Mei wore an elegant white dress that perfectly highlighted her graceful, curvaceous figure. Her charming onyx eyes, cherry-red lips, and delicate eyebrows enhanced her refined beauty. With smooth pale skin, long slender legs, and dark hair tied neatly in a bun, she looked like a living work of art.
"WHOOSH."
"SCREEEECH."
Without warning, a thunderous screech echoed from above. A gigantic white eagle monster beast dove down from the sky, its feathers gleaming like silver under the sunlight. Each beat of its wings stirred violent currents of wind. Riding calmly on its back was Yang Kai, an elder of the Yang Clan. His robes fluttered wildly, yet his posture remained steady, exuding the dignity and strength of a powerful cultivator.
From atop the white eagle, Yang Kai met Mei's gaze with a friendly smile and spoke.
"We're all set, Third Young Lady. Ready when you are."
With a bright smile and a small nod to Elder Yang Kai, Mei began walking toward the White Eagle Monster Beast, only to pause at her father's familiar voice.
"Mei'er."
Mei turned around and saw Yang Bo smiling faintly as he took out an exquisitely forged space belt and handed it to her.
"Stored Inside the space belt some spirit stones, accompanied by gold, silver, and azure coins."
"Each of your siblings received an identical share when they left the clan to join a Martial School or Martial House."
"Remember, I will not offer any further aid. From this moment onward, your success in the Martial Mountain House depends entirely on your effort and dedication."
"Don't let what I said a few days ago slip your mind, Mei'er; it could cause problems for you later."
Mei's eyes softened with reflection as she recalled her conversation with Yang Bo a few days earlier.
Flashback
Mei sat across from her father in his office, meeting Yang Bo's solemn gaze.
"Mei'er, the time has come for you to enter a martial house and begin your cultivation journey."
Excitement bubbled inside Mei, making her lips curve into a small smile, but a shiver of worry whispered that she might not survive the Opening Ceremony.
Her father sensed her worry and responded with a gentle, reassuring smile.
"Mei'er, I have no doubt—you will make it through the Opening Ceremony. Believe in yourself."
A flicker of surprise crossed Mei's face as her brows lifted elegantly.
Yang Bo chuckled briefly at Mei's startled expression before his gaze turned serious as he spoke to her.
"Mei'er, listen carefully. What I'm going to tell you now is strictly between us. Don't tell anyone not even your brothers or sisters."
The seriousness etched on her father's face prompted Mei to nod firmly.
"The moment you were born, eight golden gates appeared in the sky out of nowhere, radiating sacred light that washed over the land. Their vast forms enveloped the whole Qin Kingdom, while heavenly melody reverberated through the skies."
Mei's gaze sharpened in shock as she recalled the heavenly melody she heard when she was reborn into this world, she had long assumed this was nothing more than her imagination.
Yang Bo regarded Mei gravely before continuing.
"I quietly researched countless texts, desperate to understand the meaning of those gigantic golden gates and ensure your safety. Still, I found nothing. I even considered consulting the sect elders, but I gave up on that idea, fearing they would target you like those born with ancient bloodlines."
Mei's lips curved into a gentle smile, her heart swelling with warmth at the depth of Yang Bo's care for her.
"That day, when I test your martial talent, I realized your talent was exceptional—truly unlike anything I've seen before. It confirmed to me that you are blessed by the heavens, that why I fully believe you will survive the Opening Ceremony unscathed."
Mei gave small smile full of appreciation and nodded to her father.
Her father chuckled when he saw Mei's smile and continued.
"I intend for you to join the Martial Mountain House and take part in the Opening Ceremony there, Mei'er."
Mei raised her elegant eyebrows at his words and asked.
"Father, the Martial Mountain House is a branch of the Martial Mountain Sect. Its a third rank sect, quite low compared to other sects in the Qin Kingdom. Shouldn't I join a martial house or school belonged to a high-ranking sect?"
Yang Bo nodded at hearing her question and replied.
"Mei'er, we must tread cautiously. The phenomenon that occurred on the day of your birth is still a mystery us. Joining the Martial Mountain House you'll have a chance to investigate it discreetly without attracting unwanted attention."
"Once you grow stronger and can protect yourself, you may choose to join a high-ranking sect. If you wish, I will personally assist you in doing so in the future."
After hearing these words Mei smiled and nodded her head.
"I understand father."
End of Flashback
With a smile and a nod to her father, Mei climbed onto the White Eagle monster beast, Elder Kai assisting her.
Elder Kai lightly tapped the back of the White Eagle monster beast twice, prompting it to spread its wings and let out a piercing screech.
"SCREEEEEECH."
"SWISH."
Mei's eyes widened as the White Eagle monster beast shot into the sky at breathtaking speed, but soon a smile spread across her face.
After the White Eagle monster beast vanished from view, Yang Bo lifted his gaze to the sky, worry etched across his face.
Suddenly, the sound of approaching footsteps reached him. Turning his head, he found his two wives, Yang Yue and Ma Jing, standing there.
They gave a soft smile to Yang Bo then Ma Jing asked him.
"Dear, are you worried about little Mei'er?"
Yang Bo nodded his head without uttering a word.
Yang Yue stood next to Yang Bo in silent and Ma Jing joined them.
Yang Yue was quite for a moment then said.
"You shouldn't be overly concerned about Mei'er. She's intelligent little girl and she enhirited sister Lian spirit; everything will be alright."
Hearing his deceased wife's name, Yang Bo's lips curved into a gentle smile as he nodded toward his two wives.
"You are right my dear let's go back."
Yang Yue and Ma Jing giggled as the three of them stepped back into the Yang clan mansion.

With Mei
While Mei relished the ride on the White Eagle monster beast, Elder Kai turned to her and said.
"Third young lady, in my youth I once joined the Martial Mountain House. It is an excellent place for you to begin your cultivation, and its martial heritage rivals even that of the Martial Hand House."
Mei's eyes grew wide in surprise at his words.
"How can this be? Martial Hand House is a branch of fourth-rank Sect—how could Martial Mountain House possibly rival it in heritage?"
Kai chuckled upon hearing her question and he started explaining.
"The Martial Mountain Sect, used to be a ranked fourth sect, but it has fallen to a third ranked sect because the number of its elders dwindled sharply—but its heritage remains intact."
Mei nodded in understanding after Yang Kai's explanation. He then tapped the back of the white eagle monster beast twice, prompting it to surge forward.
"SWOOOSH."
